The large ones consisted of wool and cotton and were very expensive so we wanted to make sure they were in good hands. (Total: ~$4,200) The smaller ones consisted of wool and jute and were equally expensive and we know that jute is a tricky material to work with. (Total: ~$800) We were also able to get our queen sized bed frame cleaned when they arrived and just had to pay the additional charge. Some places would charge you extra to get last minute additions when they arrive but NY Steamers did not! Meyer was quick to respond to all my questions and so flexible with arranging a time. He was so accommodating and all of his team members were so respectful, informative and friendly! The prices are super reasonable and so I decided to book him again to clean our couch. Second Service: I contacted Meyer to get a quote for our 2 seater and chaise and he responded right away with the price. It was a reasonable deep cleaning price and because I was so in love with the service the first time, we went ahead and scheduled a time for the cleaning. We had scheduled a late afternoon cleaning however the day of Meyer contacted and asked if we can have it earlier. It ended up working better in terms of my schedule! The guy quickly came and settled everything and less than 30 minutes later our couch had 99% of the stains removed! I couldn't be any happier. I wanted to love this place... I brought a Miele vacuum that I had for about 15 years because the…read morepower cable broke. I left it at this shop and a week later I picked it up. The gentleman charged me $85 and mentioned that while he was working on the vacuum, it fell and the latch that closes broke. He fixed it with glue and scotch tape and gave me a post it with the part number for me to order. I didn't want to be a Karen about it so I paid and left. Got home, googled the broken part and it was about $100 and the power cable that used to be 40ft is now 20ft so I have to plug it and unplug it 6 times instead of 2. I still didn't want to be a jerk so I left no review but today the "fix" on the latch broke and the vacuum is useless. This gentleman should retire. Avoid this place.
