The rooms for sleeping are very clean, also. I have made so many friends from Camp Henry Horner. It has been the most fun camp I have been to ever. If you have a 9-15 year old that wants to go to a sleep away camp, I recommend Camp Henry Horner.

They took fantastic care of our daughter from the time she was 3 months until she left for kindergarten, and we were sad when her time with her daycare family had come to an end. She learned so much in her time there and was more than ready for kindergarten both socially and academically. She loved all of her teachers, classmates, and most of all.. all of the crafts and activities they did. When our son was born last summer we knew exactly where we wanted to send him. The staff has always been there to support us as different things popped up and have been super flexible with our schedules. They also taught us so much when we were new parents. We have no doubt in our mind that they love our kids and give them the care and support that they need.

However, I registered online for family class. When we arrived the owner confirmed we had registered online and gave us uniforms. After class he informed me that his prices online were incorrect and that the actual cost was more than double. So I went from paying $170 to being asked for $360. That was out of my budget (and I've since found that every other school in the area is about $120 for family class). I let the owner know I couldn't swing that and asked for a refund. He got pretty loud and mentioned uniforms. I said he could deduct some of the uniform costs but did say it felt dishonest to give me the uniforms before telling me the real cost of the classes. He agreed to try to work something out with me. That was two months ago... I've called two more times and emailed and he's never responded. I have since contacted an attorney.

Sometimes, trying new things can be embarrassing at first, but the comfortable and encouraging atmosphere makes all the difference. I've noticed so many positive changes in my kids and myself. My youngest daughter's issues with focusing have improved, and so have mine, along with my memory and overall mental health. My oldest daughter is more confident, as am I. My nephew has been making it to school every day and is learning self-control. I'm finally learning self-discipline, and I'm happier than I've been in a long time. The family class is so much fun now that more parents have joined. The sparring class is the highlight of my week. Master Von Patten and Mr. Damitz are incredible teachers who collaborate with other schools to offer as much as possible for us. USA Martial Arts is a great school!

My daughter attended the 3yr and 4yr old preschool program and was so ready for kindergarten I was able to have her tested and she was enrolled early. Now she attends the summer day cam program when she is out of school. She loves the teachers and the activities. Me, I love that the program focuses not only on school readiness but also on the core values of a Christian upbringing. Reading and writing are taught hand in hand with being kind and helpful to each other. I would definately recommend this preschool!
