James and his crew were absolutely amazing and a God Send!!! They were prompt on time and steadily worked to take down dead trees that could have had a deadly effect in the next storm. Many tree companies came out and TBH the dead tree leaning towards my house could not bare any weight from any tree climber and it was a very dangerous situation. James invested in a new truck with an arm that has its own blade that reaches to top of trees. and I must say i was very impressed to see it in action!!!! Branch by branch were cut and gently laid on the ground for the crew to cut up! I'm giving Meadows Tree Service a rating of 2. I used them a couple of years ago and was pleased with their work. However this time, not so much. They were to remove two Italian Cypress trees and do some trimming on other trees for me. When they removed one tree, they broke the sprinkler line. He crew leader told me that they do not repair the line because it was not marked. I said the tree was in-between two sprinkler heads so obviously there had to be a pvc sprinkler line near by so caution should have been used. Bottom line, they refused to reimburse me the $200 out of pocket expense I had to repair the line. And, they never returned the 3 text messages I sent. Finally, I didn't notice at the time but they didn't trim the magnolia tree I asked them to trim. I will not use them again. read more

Five stars is a rating I rarely give. I called for an estimate to trim 3 oak trees. Someone came by later in the day and and offered a fair price. We set up a day to do the work, they showed up on time, did a fantastic job, cleaned up the mess, and were gone quickly. I really think they over delivered to what I was expecting. The owner was there supervising the whole time. I highly recommend this company. I will use again, but not soon. Oak trees grow slowly. read more

I wish I could say that I had a great experience with Meadows Tree Service. Quite honestly, we were VERY impressed when James came to our house and offered an estimate to do some tree trimming for us. Unfortunately, he never returned to do the work once we accepted his quote. He was scheduled on a day that it rained so he let me know they would not be coming. Then I never heard from him again until over a month later when I texted/called him multiple times to find out what happened. It wasn't until I mentioned calling the BBB that he finally returned my texts. He apologized for "forgetting" about us. However, I feel like if he was truly sorry, he would have actually called to try to make things right. I feel like our job just wasn't big enough for him so he just never followed up with us. When he did text me, he offered to put me back on the schedule but didn't do anything to make me think he truly was sorry. As I said, I truly wish we could have used his services. He seemed very knowledgeable and capable of doing what we asked. I guess our job was just easy to pass up for other bigger and/or more profitable ones. read more
