Meadows Montessori is the furthest thing from a true Montessori experience that you can get. Parents want to feel they can trust their childcare provider and often believe without question. Unfortunately the administration at this school seems to lack any integrity and has proven time and time again to be dishonest. The teachers are lacking appropriate training; some lead teachers even lacking required Montessori qualifications. In some cases teachers lack any certification or experience at all, including assistant room teachers lacking even the basic coursework necessary to be unsupervised with children. They will tell you they are providing you with the best teachers a school can offer but it would seem this is not the case. I also find the director to be grossly underqualified, appearing overwhelmed by even the basic receptionist aspects of the job. The owners are rarely present and seem to show little concern to any issues other than profit. When concerns or issues have been presented to administration it seems they give the answer they think you want to hear but then continue on with no changes implemented. Given the environment, it's really no surprise that the staff turnover rate is alarmingly high each year. Poor planning in the infant and pre-primary enrollment forces children to be pushed out of pre-primary before they are ready, seemingly for financial gain of the school. The primary rooms lack the proper support staff, possibly due to the high turnover rate or inexperienced personnel, to handle the young ones and therefore these kids appear to wander throughout the day lacking the necessary guidance they need. The only "field trip" is the same repeat in house performance parents must pay an extra fee for. Other Montessori programs provide enrichment classes and cultural activities for the children, Meadows only minimally offers this at an additional charge during after school hours. Recess play activities are strictly regulated and limited, removing the little bit of fun the kids could have enjoyed. Kids do not grow, change, and learn in this environment. Rather, they appear to leave emotionally stifled, lacking self-confidence and academically lagging. In the ten years I have used childcare programs, this was far and away my worst experience. Meadows definitely deserves more than 5 stars from our family! We've watched our son go from feeling sad at separation to absolutely loving this school--now he doesn't even want to leave when we pick him up. The teachers here are truly the best. They bring so much experience, patience, and care, which helped our son through the difficult first days of separation. We can feel that they treat every child as their own, showing genuine kindness and respect in every interaction. Teachers like Ms. Tina, Ms. Debbie and Ms. Kendall, who have been here for years, create such a warm and stable environment. It really feels like one big, happy family, which we believe is so important for children's growth. I still remember on the school's open day, many teachers from other classes already knew my son's name and even joked with him. That moment showed us that the whole team truly cares about every child, not just the ones in their own classroom. The school follows Montessori principles, encouraging kids to grow naturally and confidently. The facilities are clean, well-organized, and designed with care. Our son is not only happy here but is also learning good manners, independence, and social skills.When our son first joined, he could barely walk steadily. Now he dances joyfully to music, greets friends with high-fives, and even joins in morning dances. He has learned not only practical skills, but also how to connect with others. Every day, we look forward to the photos the teachers share, where we see his happy face laughing and playing with friends. We are so grateful to Meadows for giving our child a place full of valuable memories, friendships, and joy. Choosing this school has been one of the best decisions we've made. Meadows Montessori has been an amazing school for my child. All of the lead teachers in each classroom are Montessori certified as well as the Director. The owners (TJ and Kim) are involved in the school and are often seen on site. Any topics I have wanted to discuss with a teacher had have been immediately addressed either in person or by phone. I am able to email the teacher about anything I want to discuss and get a same day response. The teacher was always willing to discuss the topic at hand and make sure that we developed a plan to follow both at school and home. This allowed for stability for my child when the same message was being relayed both day and night. The education that my child has received at Meadows is second to none. Every "work" that the child encounters prepares them for higher learning. For example, the pin punch work makes their hand muscles stronger so that they are better equipped for writing when they are ready. In the meantime, they are learning the continents of the world while pin punching. My child will be entering Kindergarten this fall already reading competently and doing math at a 2nd grade level. I cannot thank Meadows enough for the support and education they have provided my child over the past few years! The lessons that they have taught will span a lifetime. read more

I have 2 children who graduated from this school - this is the best school that any parent could ask for - these are the most caring and most educated people I have ever met - I could not be more proud as to what these teachers have done for my children, I just could not have done it without them . They definitely developed independent thinkers and leaders. The world out there is so harmful and if any parent have the opportunity to develop their children's dependence and leadership they can alway take care of them self . My son is a wonderful example of what the school have done for us - he was placed in a soccer class with kids 10-12 and he carry himself in such a great way - I. Am so proud of him. Meadows make this all possible . My daughter when she started 1 grade she was such a good student ( reader) the school created a reading class that included her as the only 1st grader. I have so much to say about this school and it is all good . If you are planning on sending your kids to school you will never be dis- satisfied with the quality of work and care these teachers provide. If you are a parent that do not require any structure for your child this school is not for you. But any parent who want the best for their children, MEADOWS would be the perfect place. WB read more

I would not typically review but given the multiple requests throughout the year from the director I felt it necessary. My son attended Meadows Montessori. I did not entirely care for the layout of the school and often wondered if the high traffic through the rooms may have been the reason for the seemingly constant illnesses. The school does have all of the standard Montessori works as well as the standard parent and teacher education opportunities you would expect from a Montessori school. However, it lacks the enrichment offerings that are typically found with other Montessori programs. The teachers are nice, though some seem to really lack Montessori experience. A big concern for me was the staff turnover, it sounded like as many as 7 teachers who started this past school year may not be returning next year. It just seems much higher than would be expected as typical turnover and rather alarming. Overall, meadows is fine if you are looking for just a daycare but if you are looking for a more Montessori experience I found it rather disappointing. Given that is what I was looking for I only gave it 1 star and would not recommend it. read more

I agree with the last post! The school is amazing, as well as, the owners, director and staff! Questions and concerns are always handled the same day and the teachers have always taken extra time (and happy to do it) to help! They are advocates for my children in every aspect, including the transition into to first grade. The teachers really know my children and their academic, social and emotional needs. The organization and structure of learning is sequential and thoughtfully planned. Materials for learning are plenty and have multiple purposes. I'm especially impressed with the math. During one of the weekend learning opportunities for parents, The Silent Journey, everyone was commenting how great it was compared to the way we learned as kids. The school offers multiple learning opportunities for parents and is very open to visits and observations. I can't speak highly enough about Meadows! Take a visit and you are sure to see happy kids learning, socializing and playing. It's worth it! read more

Since our son enrolled in 2023, we've had a very positive experience with Meadows Montessori. All of his teachers have been wonderful, keeping us informed of his development and creating a great environment for him to grow. The school has events regularly to participate in and meet other parents. They've also enhanced our experience adding in an app for us to keep track of him throughout the day and see pictures/videos. He really seems happy going there and making friends, and his development has been impressive from verbal skills to behavioral. We're very happy with the school and planning on sending our next child when he is old enough to attend. read more

I have two children at Meadows Montessori and I would recommend the school to anyone seeking high quality care for their children. Both of my children joined Meadows at 4 months old and both children have thrived in the true Montessori environment that Meadows fosters for its students. My 3.5 year old is already reading and my baby is way ahead of his developmental milestones. The foundation they offer children is incredible. My little one has been going to this Montessori daycare since she was 5 months old (she just turned 1!), and we honestly love it. The infant classroom teachers--first Ms. Brooklyn and now Ms. Jarelyn--have been so patient and caring, and my daughter is thriving there. Ms. Kendall, the director, is amazing too and runs the program so thoughtfully. I also love that it's true Montessori: no screens, nature time, and all Montessori toys. It feels so good knowing she's in such a nurturing environment. read more
