The reason behind making this extra driving effort when he could already be attending the excellent public school that is near our house along with his sister, lays in the social and spiritual foundation that she as a child and I as a parent got to learn during her 3 years of Waldorf education. It was actually her who recommended that her brother should also get to enjoy these unforgettable calm and magical years under the kindest and most stable guidance . Every day when I pick him up and even though the children are usually playing outdoors, his hands are warm, his cheeks are pink, he seems well rested, well nourished, and I am sure that he has been treated only in the nicest possible way.

I went to Argentina and loved it! Also went to Nantucket, Maine, etc for end-of-the-year trips. The teachers care dearly for their students. I've found myself well prepared for university. I've only completed one year so far, but I've been doing great and I'd credit some of that to Waldorf. I'd say that Waldorf isn't for all students (some people would probably feel suffocated by the small class sizes) but it can be really great for those it does work for! PS- I'm not sure who the other reviewer is, but he doesn't seem to have attended! Checking his previous reviews, I noticed he also gave the Empire State Building a one-star review (along with almost all the other places he's written about). You can't please everyone.

She enjoys the coursework--no longer stressed and procrastinating at night--and the Main topics classes change frequently to provide novelty without losing depth. It's a small student population but she has made friends she really enjoys and sees on weekends. Parents are lovely. We were also looking for a school environment that would help us eliminate some of the social media overload. I highly recommend this Waldorf school.

Also it is a good place to find supplies like wool felt, yarn, colored modeling beeswax, and art and craft kits. A wonderful place if you are looking for something high quality or hand made rather than mass produced plastic junk.

Awful experience with both the place and the owner. We went in to inquire about enrolling our…read moredaughter and were in the process of signing up, but we never signed anything. In the meantime, she was accepted into another school. Despite not finalizing enrollment or giving consent, we were still charged. The owner had assured us that no charges would be made without our approval, yet he went ahead anyway. He later emailed claiming he would issue a refund by check, but that never happened. He continues to claim we gave consent and that the refund was processed--neither of which is true. We never agreed to anything, never signed paperwork, and never received our money back. This place is only interested in taking your money and will say anything to justify it. Avoid at all costs!

My child shouldn't go to school only to start becoming anxious about going to a tense environment. There's no real education provided because the "Waldorf" method of observational learning is what most children receive at home anyways (observing adults clean, cook, iron clothes etc.). It's nice they spend so much time outside; however, having children eat breakfast early in the morning on frigid winter days is just unnecessarily miserable (to name one example). The director suddenly left for weeks and the woman, Stephanie, who was appointed to replace her didn't seem to have any real qualifications. At drop-off and pick-up I also noticed issues with Helen/Mr. Carl and Stephanie treating the other employees poorly. I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone.
