L'auberge is located on a quiet street in the historic Frenchtown District of St Charles, MO, just 20 min from St Louis. From the lighting to the decor, it was perfectly comfortable. The house has a well stocked modern kitchen, two bathrooms, a dining room for six, comfortable living room with plenty of seating and washer/dryer. Outside, there was plenty of off street parking, an outdoor gas grill, outdoor dining for six and plenty of other outdoor seating. The house was immaculate and perfectly decorated. Every room inviting & comfortable. The owners were very responsive to the couple of questions /needs we had. It was a great place for our family of six for a weekend away!!

Keep in mind, this is an older building, so there is some outside noise and a quaint, aged feeling/look - pictures describe this accurately. In town for just a night, but there were plenty of restaurants and things to do. This is just down the street from a few restaurants + bars and probably a five minute walk from even an even more populous area near the hospitals. I'm not from the area, but this was seemingly right in the middle of a historic neighborhood and down the street from Forest Park which has incredible trails for walking, houses the zoo and an outdoor theater, science museum, etc. We lucked into street parking with no hassle, no fee - it was a few buildings down, but not inconvenient. Would stay again.
