MD's repair service has done various projects for us. Most recently fixed a dryer vent that had caught on fire and fixed our washing machine. Very professional and prompt service. MD's goes above and beyond and recommend to anyone that needs things fixed or has projects around the house that needs to be done. read more

Meet the Business Owner: Matt O.

Born and raised in Josephville , MO. Attended Fort Zumwalt High School And graduated in 1986. I then immediately reported for duty in The United States Army and was stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington. I started doing Home repairs with my late father in law in 1993 and have been doing that part time since. I am married with 4 wonderful children. I was married to my loving wife in 2000.

The estimate came back a few days later, and I was impressed by how well organized it was; everything was itemized down to the dollar for each specific job of my giant basement-finishing project. It ended up being a much bigger project than anticipated only because I don't know a thing about breaking up my concrete floor to run drains for a new full bath. We've decided to postpone the project for now, but I will definitely be calling Billy back when we are ready to move forward!

BEWARE - DO NOT USE. They did not complete the quoted work,…read morelied to my face about the repair, and then were rude and dismissive when confronted. I hired Mister Fix-it to build supports for a joist that was sagging. Their quote included building up from the ground to support the joist. The technician did not complete the support wall. When I had him come back out to finish the work (which had been quoted and paid for), he told me there was another board I couldn't see, resting on the foundation, so a wall wasn't needed. I asked a number of follow up questions to make sure I understood. Based on that, I didn't insist on the support wall. Today I examined it and determined that there is no second board. He lied about something he hoped I wouldn't be able to see, to get out of work I paid for. I called and spoke to Jerry, who runs the company. He did offer to have a different person come complete the work, but he was dismissive and told me to "settle down" and "calm down". They have not offered any kind of compensation for the fact that failed to do the work, lied, and will need yet another appointment to complete it (if they even do that). I've been a customer for several years, but I will never use them again.

May 2025 plumber came out after line they fixed broke for the 3rd time on outside faucet…read more Incompetent for the start since house is only 20 years old at time this started so I don't buy into outside wall was issue now. Only a few feet are on outside wall. He suggested to have line in poly tube over cooper and we agreed. The company was to have someone come out to do so. After months of no call I called beginning of March 2026 asking what happened, we need it fixed and wanted someone to do so. Schedule only allowed for two weeks out approximately. Scheduled and blocked day off. Now today plumber comes out and it's the original man who can't do any work due to injury. so he calls office and now they want to schedule it out again. Incompetence of this company is ridiculous. We had 3 other jobs we needed done too and they will not get the work. Time to find a reliable plumber.
