Keith is a terrible property manager. Most of the poor ratings are from tenants and the high ratings from homeowners. I had the same experience as most other tenants with 1 star reviews. These pics were from move-in. Bins full of trash, washer was covered in mold growth so they replaced it, dishwasher was broken so they replaced it, and items were left in the backyard. They don't fix any thing. They wouldn't fix my heat going out at night in winter for weeks, but they nickel-and-dimed me on my security deposit. Charging $300 to clean an oven that was in similar condition to when I moved in. They also tried to charge me for things that were annotated in the move-in inspection photos. Keith will do everything to steal from you! Avoid shelter at all costs, especially if you are military. read more

I had an extremely negative experience with MDL Group. After disputing extra CAM charges in May 2024 for services that were never provided--such as AC filter changes, janitorial services, and landscaping--I received no resolution. Instead of addressing the dispute, MDL Group retaliated against me by refusing to extend my lease and charging late fees, eviction notice fees, and more. Their discriminatory behavior, specifically against me based on my origin, was unacceptable. Alia, in particular, was unprofessional and showed clear racist tendencies in her interactions with me. I have documented proof of the communication and have filed a formal complaint for their refusal to resolve the matter and for their discriminatory practices. If you are considering working with MDL Group, be cautious--they will not hesitate to retaliate or discriminate if you raise any valid concerns. This property management company treats its tenant so bad. Keith and Rachel are very disturbing managers and make life difficult. They harass all tenants regularly and try to force them to move out. We rented an office operated by MDL in November of 2020. They took over management at the same time we rented. Frankly, had we talked to other businesses in the building, we would not have gone with this property. In the time since we have occupied our space, it took 2 weeks to fix heat that did not work when we moved in (it's super fun working in an office that is 55 degrees), they only fixed 1 of 3 items that were addressed on our initial walk through, and only then after 4 months. They never fixed the swamp cooler in our warehouse space, but charged $1100 for a replacement condenser on air conditioning that was not broken. Our lease indicated that we would take the property "as is" but that it would be in acceptable condition. The property was not only not acceptable, it's a disaster that keeps on giving. read more

I wanted to take a moment to give MDL Group some props, but more importantly recognize some the people who make MDL Group great to deal with as property management group. I've been a tenant for nearly 15 years at one of their properties. I'm not going to say everything has been peaches, however throughout all these years, what I can say is MDL has been professional, attentive, reasonable and fair when addressing any past concerns. This feedback is purely from my own experiences dealing with other property management companies. Trust me, as a landlord myself, and from a perceptive of also being a tenant, MDL Group is superior in my opinion to most PM groups out there. I first took my real estate exam at the age of 16 years old and was the youngest agent to ever join a brokerage when I turned 18 in the early 90's. I also launched the first mortgage school in Vegas in the early 2000's. With my knowledge and past years of experience in real estate game, I think it's safe to say MDL Group is second to none. If I owed a shopping center today and needed a PM company, they'd be my first call. Like most businesses, it's not the business itself but rather the team behind it which makes it successful. One of those people I'd like to recognize is Cat A-H. She's tremendously professional, attentive and gets straight to the point, all while still being empathetic when any concerns arises.
