STAY AWAY! Installation was not a problem and Miguel was responsive, but good luck getting a hold of him after installation! We informed him from the very beginning when he installed our shades and a few times after to come remove the motorized shades, since we were placing impact doors and windows. He agreed to come and confirmed, we waited that Friday evening and he was a no show. My husband text him multiple times and his responses were "awesome" and "amen," which had nothing to do with what my husband was asking him (not sure how professional that is). Then my husband decided to call him the following day and he never answered. In addition, one of the power cables is coming out from both shades shortly after installation. At first, we had even recommended him to a family member, who called him various times and he never answered. After I got in touch with him through Instagram that's when he said "his phone got hacked." By the way we were going to pay him for coming out again, this was not going to be a favor. read more

Miguel did a great job for us back on May 2018 and part of the positive experience was the quick quote and turnaround, but the business "has too many calls" and won't answer calls from potential customers, so I only recommend if you have a Yelp account and time to wait. read more

Miguel definitely went above and beyond for the product and services he provided! I usually likes to compare a lot of providers before making my decisions. He was not the first one who responded but actually was the first one who came to my home within a day or two. I have a very limited availability and he worked around my schedule. I was a little skeptical with his product and service at the beginning as he did seem a little rush with everything (which turned out to be in a good way :). While most of the providers told me the product would be ready in a week or two, his was ready, to my surprise, in two days! If you're looking for someone who's very effective and responsive, offers competitive price, superior service, and excellent product (for now just to be fair as time shall tell, will update my comment if quality proves to be otherwise), highly recommended! read more

I recently purchased six motorized roller shades with a five-year warranty from MDDesigns. I assumed the process would be smooth since they were very attentive during the estimate phase. Well I was proven wrong. I have never had such poor customer service in my entire life and regret hiring them. The day before my installation appointment, I tried contacting Miguel in the morning to confirm my scheduled appointment time of 9 am. After multiple text messages and phone calls he finally responded in the evening and confirmed my installation date and time. On the day of my appointment, Miguel and his partner were to arrive at my home at 9 am to begin the one-day installation of my roller shades. At 9:12 am I received a text message from him requesting that I provide him with the second half of the payment (first half was submitted two weeks prior). I responded immediately and expanded that the second half of the payment would be submitted once the job was completed. I then asked where he was and was he on his way. He responded to me at 11:05 am that he was on his way. He did not arrive to my apartment until 1:30 pm. My apartment building has a cutoff time of 4 pm for installation work. Since Miguel arrived at my apartment at 1:30 pm he was only able to do a partial installation. This was on a Friday so the entire weekend I had partially installed roller shades. Additionally, included in the scope of labor was the removal and disposal of my old roller shades and blackout curtains that were hanging. He did not dispose of these and I had to do it myself even though I paid for this service to be taken care of. Miguel promised me that he would come back to finish the job the following Monday and would be at my apartment at 9 am sharp. Well that was another lie. I texted him at 9:13 am and asked where he was. He responded that he was on his way but did not arrive to my apartment until 1:00 pm. Once he finally finished the install the motors began to make grinding noises. As such, he needed to come out again to fix this issue. For some reason he decided that this was a one-person job, which it was not, and while he was working he electrocuted himself. Once he regained his wits he decided to call his partner to help; An hour later his partner showed up and the issue was resolved multiple hours later. Lastly, included in the purchase price of the roller shades was a five-year warranty on the motors. I asked Miguel on multiple occasions to provide me with the warranty information and every time he said yes I will send it to you. This was another lie as he has not sent it to me and now that he has been paid he is not responding to my calls or texts. One of my worst experiences with an installation company. I encourage you to stay away them. read more

Working with Miguel and JC was a great decision. He was very honest and professional. Really took his time to share his samples and helped give us many ideas. He also shared his experience in the business and showed us examples of his work. Also, he said our blinds would be done in one week...and they were ready and installed IN ONE WEEK. I say this because many people you work with in Miami always have excuses when they tell you one thing and do another. My wife and I are grateful and our blinds look great! Would highly recommend.
