Actually listened. Asked thoughtful questions. Didn't rush. Didn't give the standard "here's a prescription, good luck" energy. I don't write reviews for anything but I will for this. Walked in at 8 am when it opened due to severe flu symptoms and chest pain. I got brought in by the MA, explaining my symptoms. After listing my symptoms which she barely wrote down, gave me a covid/flu test. No vitals taken at all, no questionnaires or questions about my medical history at all, no temperature checked, and no other testing to help with a diagnosis. After 30 minutes the doctor came in. No help at all as he barely even spoke english and told me maybe it was a false negative when i got results and that's it. I clearly was out of breath and had chills from symptoms and he was clueless to helping or referring me to anything. I asked for any other tests considering I was just out of the country for new years and he ignored. Not even strept test based on my sore throat and nausea. This place is a scam and just pocketing the ridiculous copays to get prescribed ibuprofen, as in ADVIL. And what is crazier is that the medical assistant MADE UP a temperature on my summary saying 98.7?! And put in my height as 4'1 instead of 5'1. Never returning to this or any location again a complete waste of energy, money, and time. read more

Worse place I have ever been! i was pretty sick. Front desk staff was rude, not helpful at all. Sent me to a pharmacy that was closed. Never got my medication. Had to call up a nurse practioner i knew from another place to write me a prescription. Physician assistant was quick to let me know she was out of there in 15 mins and did zero for me. Then they had the nerve to send me a bill after billing my insurance company over $300. Avoid this urgent care-ZERO value. read more

With so many walk in clinics in this area, there is ZERO reason to visit this one. After giving me a ridiculous wait time with only 4 ppl in the waiting room, I left with my sick son and checked back after approx an hour and 15 minutes. The miserable woman at the front told me "you're next " and took my payment- both of which prompted us to go and sit in the waiting room. After 5 minutes, the woman at the front disappeared and after 10 minutes I called back to the staff see what was going on. She informs me (with her attitude) that the entire staff is at lunch and told me she meant I was next after lunch. Customer service is a ZERO. Additionally, corporate was no help. I was told there was no manager for this area. At the very least, before you're seen here, wait to give payment until after service is rendered so you have the option to walk out! read more

Crooks!!! On sunday after waiting three hours to see a doctor, and paying $40, I went to them and explained that for the last four days I have had an intense pain when I swallow, rating my pain 8/9 out of 10. The doctor said strep throat was going around and hes been treating alot of patients with strep this week. They gave me a throat swap and said it would take 8 minutes to recieve the results of the strep test. After waiting another 20 minutes for the results the doctor finally came back in the room and said good news the test is negative just go home gargle salt water, take advil, and ill start getting better soon. I said are you sure?? Im in a lot of pain and they just said yeah were sure, other tests today have come back positive so we know our tests are working. I say okay and leave but am upset I got no answers and I just waisted so much time and money for no help or answers. The next day I wake up with white patches on my tonsils and decide to go to the MD now on palmetto and powerline where I waited twenty minutes to be seen, had the nicest doctor look at me and immediately prescribe me antibiotics. This place is a scam, they dont care about their patients theyre just collecting copays and not offering any help in return. FORTY DOLLARS AND THREE HOURS of my life just to have a qtip shoved down my throat and be told to take advil. Dont go to this location go ten minutes down the street to the palmetto and powerline location where they actually care about helping people and not just taking your money. read more

Absolute RIP OFF. Run by incompetents only looking to pad the bill. Whoever heard of, while just sitting in the waiting area to be ordered to give a urine sample even before meeting the provider, who's just a glorified nurse that doesn't even know my condition. When I refused, that set up a confrontation once I entered the examination room. Constant badgering and outright lies. Then, amazingly, he said: OK, no urine?, how about an X-Ray? Waited 5 hours for a Covid test for my sick daughter. 2 days later I called for results, and it was a solid 30 minutes before anyone answered the phone. I was told if I wanted results I had to go on the lab's website and make a patient portal account. I did that, then they had to have proof I was her mom, so i had to upload a copy of her birth certificate and wait for approval. Finally got approval and the results ARE NOT THERE. That was Monday. It's Thursday morning and I STILL don't know the results of her Covid test. Stay far, far, away from this incompetent company. read more

I've been here 3 times and after the last visit I will never, ever return. I would advise anyone to literally go anywhere else. We waited in a patient room for nearly an hour for a 15 minute Covid test, all the while the staff and doctor were outside chatting away. When I dared to open the door to inquire about the wait, the Doctor responded with sarcasm and rudeness and told me he hadn't had his lunch yet. I've never been treated so disrespectfully for daring to value my time as much as this doctor's, and rather than bothering to properly evaluate my daughter, he told us to go to the ER. Further, I don't know why a physician's assistant bothers to ask 100 questions when the doctor can't be bothered to look at them, and just comes in and says, "What's wrong?" MD Now should be renamed "PA Now," as there is almost always never a Physician on-staff. A PA is not a physician. A Physician Assistant does not have a Doctorate or Medical Degree. A PA is only allowed to write non-narcotic scripts and perform routine exams. Case in point: I had a medical emergency, and had asked if they had a Physician on-staff. The clueless receptionist responded, "Yes, we have a Physician Assistant." LOL! I said, "That is not a Doctor!" The PA overhears me, comes out and mistakenly refers to me as "Ma'am then immediately corrects it to "Sir." LOL! Last I checked, have been a man since birth. Ultimately the receptionist referred me to another MD Now which had a Physician on-staff. Low and behold, that did not go well either. I should have known to seek out a specialist from the start. Went for a PCR test last Thursday morning. Got seen and tested quickly and competently, but was not told that the lab doing the processing was way behind in their work. It is now Monday, over 96 hours after the work, and no results yet. I should have been cautioned about the delays but was not. At this point any results are useless. read more

there is a sign to check in when you walk in. it makes no mention of coming back up and talking to the front desk. you do everything from a QR code. this was done at 915am. the lady never called us up. we eventually had to go up bc others kept passing us. you have to fill out a form post check in. but you'd think they'd call you up but they don't. she gave us a horrible attitude about it and said it was our fault. we waited over 2 hours to be seen. horrible experience. do not go here. subpar care through the whole experience. read more

Had swollen tonsils and thought it was strep since I have had strep multiple times before and know there are different variations. Went to CVS and the tests came out negative, so they recommended I go to a MD Now Urgent Care since my tonsils didn't look good. When I got to MD, the receptionists were super nice. Once I finally was called, the nurse took all my vitals all at the same time, then when I explained my story about being at the minute clinic, she said what can we do for you here? Then when the doctor was going to do a culture, the nurse says we don't have any and it was backordered. They finally magically found one. Just a very weird experience and for a urgent care should be more caring and prepared. read more

Went in for a school sport physical. Absolutely nobody in the lobby waited for a half an hour to be seen and end up leaving because of other obligations with my kids sports that afternoon. I would absolutely avoid this place as it is a complete waste of your time. read more
