I went to urgent care for a broken hand. At the time, I wasn't sure if it was broken or dislocated. I was given long forms via link to my phone to complete which was no easy considering my condition. But no one in waiting room so I thought it would be fast. After waiting 30 minutes in front waiting room, they stick me in a freezing room for another freezing cold room. After all this, the doctor comes in to explain that there's basically nothing he can do to help me bc they don't have an x-ray tech on staff and that I'd need to drive to another facility to have the x-ray! The one thing he did that I thought would be helpful was to write me a referral to an Ortho in case it was broken. Well, after getting x-ray and confirming it was broken, I contacted this Ortho only to be told that they didn't work on hands!! S0 back to them to ask for referral that could actually help me. She told me doctor would decide and call me back. After waiting several hours, it was now 6 pm, I called back to be told form was there but that they were too busy to call me!! Other than Comcast, this facility was probably the most inconsiderate and unprofessional that I've ever dealt with. read more

Only gave 2 stars due to the Dr being knowledgeable and truly apologized for the lack of consideration of the front desk. Waited 2 hours, paid my copay, filled out the online form, then had to fill out another paper form. VERY POOR communication skills at the place you need the best. Unfortunately they don't, or at least didn't while I was there. I told them explicitly that I thought my foot was broken and needed an X-ray. They DO NOT HAVE AN X-RAY MACHINE here. He was kind, professional and the Rxs he wrote to take care of respiratory symptoms were spot on and helped me more than expected. I would not hesitate to use them again. read more

If I could leave ZERO stars I would. This is the 2nd time coming to this location (over two years time) with at least 2-3 hour wait with only a few people in the waiting room. It's RIDICULOUS. I'm in medical and have worked at an urgent care before and there is NO excuse. My overall experience was wonderful. From the moment I checked in, the front desk staff made the process smooth and reassured me--especially when I found out I needed to have blood work done. I was nervous, but the Medical Assistant, Robencia, was absolutely amazing! I have never had blood drawn so quickly and painlessly. That says a lot, coming from someone with a low pain tolerance. Almost seems ridiculous to leave yet another negative review for this location since so many before me have outlined the poor service and exceptional long wait times not to mention the rude behavior of their employees. But for the record I agree with everyone of them. If it was not for my need to have DOT Physical I would not come here. The medical industry in whole is at its lowest point. I have zero faith in the providers as they all seem to be uncaring empty shells going through the motions of a mundane and un-rewarding profession. Do we have a minus score for this place? Last year I was foolish enough to go for an ear cleaning. For $175, this young (doctor?) came in and squeezed ice water forcefully into my ear. The next day, with a pounding headache and my ear still clogged, I made an appointment with my local ENT. For $100, he cleaned my ear, treated me for an infection and scolded me for going to a quack at MDNow. A few weeks ago, my son thought he might have thrush from an attack of Covid, his mouth was coated with white and he was having trouble swallowing. I warned him not to go to MDNow (if they can't clean your ears properly, why let them put their fingers down your throat?), but he thought it would be better than going to the ER for $500. So he went, and for $180 this quack looked at his tongue, recommended chicken soup (seriously, he gave my son paperwork that had a handwritten note to drink chicken soup), and wouldn't take a culture, mocking him. Furious, my son went to my ENT the next day, who took a culture, gave him a prescription and charged him only $113. So the moral of both these tales -- unless you are on death's door, the ER is closed, zombies are chasing you and it's the last door in Deerfield Beach that is open and you have an uncontrollable desire to be both ridiculed and over-charged, DON'T BOTHER. read more

You're urgent care over charges even with the insurance coverage. I had to pay for a covid test when multiple locations were free. The doctors and nurses don't do anything ! I've been here for 2.5 hours for a routine work physical. I was brought back to exam room and told that tech would be right back. An hour ago. The PA finally came in for exam, and told me someone would be back to do my PPD soon. I'm still waiting. The lobby is crowded with people waiting for Covid tests, and they are sitting right next to each other. Zero social distancing. I thought I was finished, but someone made a mistake, so I've got to wait a little longer. If you can, go somewhere else. read more

This facility has this rating for a reason. I had been there before without much issue but this time was awful. The issue is the doctor is decent but the staff is not especially the front desk. I went in on February 19 with stomach pains. The doctor did a brief exam And ordered a urine test and bloodwork. They use bio reference laboratories as their lab. My symptoms got worse and I was going to see a specialist and called to get my lab test. They said they were not done yet. This was after three days. So I called the lab to see if my results were ready and all of them were in except for one. I asked them to send the results over to MD lab so that I could pick them up to bring to the specialist. I don't want to make this too long but the end result was the front office staff would not give me my results. They kept saying they weren't in. I called the lab back three times And they said they sent them each time. One of the girls in the front said they didn't get it but what she didn't know was that I was on a three-way call with the lab so I could hear the conversation. The girl at the lab told them they faxed it three times and also to the number That the girl at the office gave them. She finally admitted that she did have them. She didn't know I was on the line I called back and she said I don't know why you're calling we told you we didn't have them. I called the district manager Who said he was going to take care of it. The girls are extremely snotty. I went in three times to the office and I was very nice about it but I was also very sick. I would suggest the Boca office if you're going to an MD now as those girls, there were very helpful*.* I strongly recommend staying away from this location read more

Horrible place. It was not urgent- they told me I had to wait up to 5 days for lab results for an Urgent matter I ended up having to go to the hospital for . On top of that, they charged me for the tests (plus the visit) AND I got another bill from the lab for having the tests done. Why was I billed twice.. now I've been trying to call them and discuss but it's nearly impossible to reach anyone. :( read more

I highly do not recommend this place. The lady at the front desk with the red braids is extremely unfriendly. This is my 3rd time here and I'm almost never seen. The wait time changes without anyone letting you know. It went from 40 minutes to 2 hours... So I just leave without any medical care. They are the worst. First of all you need a mask when you come in here. Most places have eliminated the mask mandate. These people are still living like it's 2020. I went in there for drug testing and I had to wait 2 hours. I couldn't stay I had to go and they weren't accepting me right away. Also, a woman came in with Covid and they didn't center away. And barely did any kind of disinfecting in there waiting area. This place is unsafe. The the attendees are very rude, and I would not recommend going over there. read more

You know it's bad when I agree to go to a doctor... That was the case this past Tuesday. I've been sick for about 3 weeks. No time to take a break from work, or my social schedule/ traveling, so I just kept taking over the counter stuff and hope for the best. Well, it finally caught up to me and around 10am, I was told by my boss to go to the doctor immediately because I was not looking well at all. I had already made an appointment at the MD urgent care but I needed to go ASAP and not wait until later that afternoon. I walked in and in no time they were checking me in, updating my appointment, making sure they had all my info and symptoms covered. 5 minutes later I was already in, they took my vitals, temperature, etc. They did a Flu Test, and in no time I was at the second room with the doctor. Everyone took the time to listen to my symptoms and how I was feeling. They were all very attentive and compassionate. At no time did I feel rushed or like they were just trying to diagnose me with anything to get me out of there and see another patient quickly. I felt like they really cared and were trying their best to figure out what was wrong with me and get me better. After all the tests and consult, my diagnosis was bronchitis. I was told to rest for 2 - 3 days, and they even gave me a note, in case it was needed for work. Prescriptions were sent immediately to the pharmacy, to the point that when I went right after to go get them, they were ready. Unfortunately, after almost a week, I was still not getting better, so I had to go back. This time it was on a Sunday. Same great experience. Quick check in and not a lot of time to wait for the doctor. They even tried working with my insurance to not have to pay the full co-pay (didn't work but appreciate them trying). Doctor, even though had all the notes from last time, took the time again to listen to what I was feeling, do a checkup and prescribe different medications to make me better. He took the time to explain what each med does, and why he thought it was the best course of action. I also appreciated him being honest on what I needed and not asking for extra tests and X-Rays when he didn't think they were needed, saving me some money. Once again, prescriptions were sent to pharmacy quickly, and I'm happy to say I am feeling better. Still recovering but better. It is nice to know that one has this option when you need medical attention and can't wait for a regular doctor to have an open appointment. If I had waited for that I might have pneumonia right now. Even better when the entire staff is so nice, friendly and genuinely concerned for your well-being. Yes, it is more expensive than a regular doctor visit, but again, totally worth it in case of emergencies, or for people like me that don't have a general doctor. All you need for your medical needs in one place. Clean, fast, and open on weekends. I hope I don't need to come back but if I do, I know I'm in good hands. read more

It's so convenient this place for urgent visits or Covid tests; however the check in process is easy but once you are in a waiting room inside it can take up to an hour for the one doctor they usually have, to see you!!!! So understaffed! I know it's difficult to fill positions at the moment but it's Always been this way; even pre Covid. I used this clinic for the exact same condition that I had yesterday when I was appalled by Helix Urgent Care and the clueless tech and the rude ,cocky, arrogant doctor. Today, I presented my eye situation in the exact same manner to MD Now. 15 minutes and some smiles later, I left there knowing that the prescription had already been sent to my CVS, and that if I ever require an urgent care again, that MD Now in Deerfield is the only place I would go. I have gone to MD Now twice. Both times, they insisted on a $40 deposit from my husband and me in case our insurance did not pay. We have NEVER, EVER had a problem with our insurance anywhere else. Now I have a bill from MD Now saying that my insurance did not pay (they probably did not call), plus they only refunded me $40 from one visit. They still owe me $40 and my husband is owed $40. I recently went to Helix instead. They would not even take a deposit! They took my credit card information and then emailed me once payment was received from my insurance (that they had no problem confirming!) to let me know that I owed my $15 co-pay. I will go to Helix from now on. I suspect that MD Now may be "double-dipping". I think they exploit their customers/patients by keeping the $40 deposit AND what the insurance pays. This place was good during COVID. Went down hill quick. Came in Saturday 917 wait 45 minutes to be seen there was only one other person in the building. I had to walk out, girl at the desk very rude. Did not care that I had a future appointment. How long should you wait at a med clinic well there was only one person in front of you. For me this was over one hour that's why I left. Today 10/10/2022, After 40 min waiting to get call to register I walked to the desk and my name was scratched.... They never called me and the receptionist said she could not see me.... I don't know her personally so associating myself to my name is beyond me. Mind that my name was in the signing paper ! I was there all along patiently waiting to be call. Only thing she could say to me to make things better is to sit down I'll call you !! So yes I sit down for 10 more seconds and left. This is not the only walk in clinic in this area. So I drove to another clinic and won't go there again... you need to retrain your receptionist. Develope and implement better tracking system. One star is generous. I visited this location around 7:30pm with a superficial laceration on my right leg because they advertise being able to treat cuts, scrapes and burns. I was rushed to the back after paying my $40 copay, the doctor looked at it and said it's too deep, they can't do anything about it and referred me to an ER where my copay is $600. At the ER, the doctor said that it's so superficial, MD Now DEFINITELY could have and should have treated it but CHOSE not to likely because it was 30mins to closing time. Their lack of care cost me $600. If you're going to say you treat cuts, and I present with a cut, you should be able to treat it even if I arrived at 7:59pm. Dr. Alan Rosenthal should be ashamed of himself and should not hold a medical license. MD Now can rest assured that this will escalate to the state board. read more

I have been to several walk-in clinics throughout the years. I know these places get busy but this one takes the cake. Walk-in patient at 12:30 on a Saturday. I signed in but had to leave 45 minutes later to pick up my daughter. There was only one doctor and seven patients in front of me. When I left, I made an appointment at 2:00. Even though I made an "appointment" they stuck me behind eight more patients when I returned with my kids. I had literally been gone 15 minutes!! It is now 4:30 in the afternoon, and he still has not graced me with his presence. They stuck me into his room and I have been stuck here since 3:30. All I need is an antibiotic due to an infection. Went in complaining of sore throat, fever and headache their only concern was covid nothing else 2 days later I have strep. To add insult to injury they want to charge me another 100.00 to get meds for the infection they missed. Then they forget a prescription.
