We had 9am massages booked and got there around 830am. We were given a tour of the Spa area which included women's locker room, a salt room, a lounge room, and access to the indoor pool and the massage areas. The women's locker room had lockers which were decent in size. They give you robes and shoes. The locker room also had a whirlpool (hotel tub) room, sauna, showers, bathrooms, and vanities with hair dryers to get changed in. They let you be ij uour robes all day and walk around, as well as even walk to their Beach Club in them. Towels are provided. The salt room wasn't really a salt room. We all got 50min massages. I did the "relaxed" massage with the Himalayan Stone upgrade. You would think that the Himalayan stones would be similar to a hot stone massage where they put them on your back. It was not. Upon entering the massage room, the masseuse takes the time to ask if there are any places to avoid or focus on. My masseuse was Stephanie. After getting onto the massage table, I can feel that there was warmth, which was relaxing, but not overwhelming. The massage table what state of the art. It was very comfortable, and the masseuse just the table to have a bend in the knees, and different positions instead of just laying down. Stephen applied the perfect amount of pressure during my massage. Back to the Himalayan stones- the warm stones she used in her hands which had salt on them, which she rubbed over the different areas of the body during the massage. Stephanie flawlessly transitioned from not having these stones in her hands to the stones not being in her hands. I definitely recommend getting spa services here. I made an appointment with their NP, Suzanne. I arrived a little early to check in and complete forms. After completing paperwork, I was invited to get a beverage or snack while I waited. They offer hand sanitizer in many locations and everyone wore a mask through my entire visit. They took me back right at my appointment time - also appreciated. My first stop was the Visia skin analysis room where Suzanne and I chatted about my concerns and skin history - I spent most of my teen years in a tanning bed and have a lengthy history of melanoma and BCC, some of which have been removed from my face. The Visia was insightful and allowed Suzanne to make recommendations based on underlying damage and redness (thanks, genetics!). I learned that botox was the last thing I needed, go figure! She offered some really good recommendations, starting with a compound topical which is already providing results in under a week! She also consulted with Julie, the owner, who made the same recommendations. All together, they spent nearly an hour evaluating and chatting with me - it didn't cost me a dime - but it certainly put me at ease to seek future care with them.
