The pavilion is unbelievable, in ground fire pit with Adirondack chairs around it seating at least 10 people, an outdoor fully furnished kitchen area, full size bathroom, horseshoe pits and cornhole boards. In the center of the park is a community garden which is beyond cool! The pond has the most gorgeous sunsets you've ever seen also. The owners, Alisha and Mark,go above and beyond in participating with the community and I've witnessed them helping when they didn't have to. I would recommend them to anybody and everybody in this area. Alright guys, I have been camper living for pretty much 2 and a half years now, my fiance and I just recently went full time. As a traveling construction worker doing water tower foundations our jobs usually don't last more than 3 weeks at a time, so I'm always moving. With that said, most of our jobs are in Texas. I'd say at least 75-80% are in the greater DGW area. After that I'd say 15% is also in texas6, just further south or west, depending. Well as everybody knows, Texas is going through a record breaking weather pattern that is basically unheard of in this area. **If you're a northerner that's gonna come on here and tell me to suck it up, I don't want to hear it. Scroll on and move along, I don't care and your comment will not be heard. ** Well, last night we had about 6 inches of snow at the park that I am at in Pilot Point, TX. Some of the highest in the area in north Dallas. I woke up this morning with no power, the camper was getting cold. It was maybe 4 degrees outside. So I went to my backup plan, I went to my 2019 Ram 2500. I was going to back in, plug it up and run the heat off of the truck. Had a full fuel tank for that reason. Well, my plan went to shit when the truck wouldn't start. The diesel fuel gelled up in the sub zero wind chill temps and I was dead in the water. For the next day or 3 the whole state of Texas is going through rolling blackouts. I had maybe 10-15 minutes of power for every hour. Which meant that I had 15 minutes to try to heat my camper. As soon as the sun went down the temps inside started dropping fast. I was in a waffle shirt, a hoodie, and a Carhartt and was still getting cold between spurts of power. So, I had a generator in my job trailer for work, also parked on the property, but I didn't have an adapter for my camper. I called Robert, the park owner and asked if maybe he had one. He didn't. He didn't stop there. He called around to every camper in the park to ask if there was one available and then found me one. Not only that, I only had about half a tank of fuel in the generator and nothing in my fuel can due to being depleted on the last job I had. Knowing that my truck was down, he took me all around town to find gas, only one place local wasn't out, and bought the gas for me and my dog to stay warm throughout the night. I literally can't praise this man and his wife enough. They have literally went above and beyond for a total stranger just passing through on a one month trip. Lake Ray Roberts RV park is definitely an amazing spot to check out if you're ever in the Denton area of Texas. I promise you will not be disappointed. Sorry for the long post, but I felt it was necessary to really send home the fact that this man is one of the best park owners I have ever dealt with in my time living in a camper.

The park is neat ran with rules that allows everyone to be proud of their space and the only place I know of you could leave home without locking the door. The security is strict among the residents and i would recommend Countryview to anyone looking for a Country yet still close enough to the city to have all the shopping and food you would have in a congestive area. The owners are very good people easy to work with and always has your best interest at heart.. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this park. They were consistently rude and unprofessional, often treating guests differently depending on whether they seemed to like you or not. We also overheard them speaking negatively about other campers, which created an uncomfortable and unwelcoming atmosphere. It felt like rules and expectations depended on their mood rather than being applied fairly. Additionally, the managers were frequently not in the office, making it difficult to get help or have questions answered when needed. Overall, the lack of professionalism and respect made this a place we cannot recommend.

There are 6 pads with a view of junk, old vending machines, deceased ice machines and for most of the time a overflowed dumpster. There is an incredible amount of poopie underneath the crab grass that my dog keeps trying to eat. There is NO wifi, no laundry facilities, no mail delivery, a big warehouse building,no street lights, no office and you are surrounded by mostly the most junky, POS , decrepit RVs. There are 6 pads. Additionally, the owner does nothing to stop people outside of the park from using the dumpster so it gets filled up fast overflows and is nasty.She charged as $40.00 a night and appears to charge on a sliding scale depending on what she thinks you can afford. Another full time resident here said she was charging 2 contractors sharing one pad $800.00 each because this is the only park (I use that term loosely) around. It is scatchy to walk around this park. One RV has a big dog house and a washing machine parked outside his RV. Another RV has a posted sign on it stating that it has so many days to be removed or it will be towed. I THINK she is taking advantage and had we known what this place was like, we would have stayed in a dumpster which would have been nicer.

Concrete for the motorhome is great and small yards with a tree here and there. It's got full hookups at all Sites which helps a lot when visiting McKinney Texas or Melissa Texas. This park is only a short distance from Bucees on 75.
