I'm not sure if all of the other reviews are false but this company can not be trusted and they have the worst communication skills known to man. It seems in the beginning as if they are going to help you out but then you get the silent treatment from them. I had a very nice call with Robert before deciding to give them a try. After the initial call there was no communication. Even when they failed to complete my taxes by April 15th which I knew was a possibility I wasn't contacted and told that they did not get completed. I had to contact them and check to make sure that an extension was filed. Then after having all of my information for months still nothing. I would contact them monthly for an update and their only response was that they are being worked on. All of my documents have sat with them since April untouched. Now come October 15th and they still did not complete my taxes and not even a word letting me know that would not be done. I had to find another CPA last minute to file so that I would not owe the IRS any additional fees. I even contacted them a few days prior to the 15th to make sure that they were being worked on and they assured me that they were but obviously they weren't. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that this company is a fraud. Do yourself a favor and run far far away from doing any business with them.

He became nonresponsive, consistently late, and unbelievably unorganized. It got worse thru the years and I should of left at least 10 years earlier but I stayed. I had been there so long, I figured he knew me, knew my tax history, starting over would be a pain, etc. etc. It finally became too much, too late, I had enough. For the first time in years, I found myself looking for someone to assist with my taxes. I tried various CPA's, and obtaining an appointment was like pulling teeth. I came across Eileen, probably thru YELP, and began to do a bit of research about her. She was not a CPA. Would I be missing tax benefits if I didn't see a CPA? All in all, reviews for Eileen were stellar and I was losing patience with attempted appointment settings for CPA's hence, I contacted Eileen's office and set up a consultation. No nonsense here as she quickly told me what I can do, what I can't, what makes sense, and what in the world was this thing I called record keeping??? I didn't agree with none of it. In fact, I pretty much disagreed with everything she said. In order to get back on track, Eileen suggested I do A, B, C, and don't forget E, F, and G. She was patient, listened to my complaints, my disagreements, and my overall rational but calmly explained how and what needed to be done and most importantly, why. And yes, it was going to cost me. But it was honest, I felt good, and down deep, I knew I was in good hands. I could trust her and felt she not only knew what she was doing but had my best interests in mind. She explained strategies that would lessen financial tax burdens, what records I needed to maintain, how to effectively organize them, and what I needed to present to her so she could provide the best results possible. In other words, without me doing what I needed to do, how could she? I have grown possess a very healthy respect for Eileen and her overall demeanor and expertise. I have been with her for three years and fully intend to continue. I will still argue with her here and there but to me, she is a consummate professional that will get you back on track and make sure your taxes are in excellent shape. And she will tell you the truth. She is fair, price conscious, and exceptionally good at what she does. In addition, she has always made herself available whenever I had a financial question, tax question, or even seeking a referral for folks engaged in a variety of services. My husband is a Type A planner and his need to plan and research went too far this time. He was still in the research phase of finding a CPA with only three weeks to go until the annual deadline. Lucky for us this office was able to fit us in for an appointment the same week my husband called. We met with Larry for an hour and went over all of the information that would be needed for our filing. He was very friendly and gave us the confidence we were missing at the chain tax preparation company. Our documents were ready for signatures in less than a week. Tina was able to sort them out and get the department of taxation and the IRS off my company's back. They also completely re-vamped our quickbooks and accounting system, helping us to save time and money. One thing I wish was different was their relationship with ADP. In my experience, ADP has been nothing but problems and if Las Vegas Bookkeeping were able to offer other options for payroll it would make the client experience even better.
