Irregardless of how connected technology might make us today, it's actually a gift to know how to truly connect and collaborate with others in an authentic and valuable way. One person who I've found that does this intuitively is Jessica Brown, a truly gifted member of the new paradigm healers coming into their own in the Bay Area. She embodies the gift of empathic collaboration- both as a business partner and skilled professional therapist. The therapeutic process is a partnership based on the therapist's authenticity and skill, two qualities which Jessica possesses naturally.

She has tremendous grounding energy and her loving presence makes therapy a safe place to explore the dark parts of being human. She does not shy away from the hard stuff but instead encourages it. I stumbled upon this place looking through approved acupuncturists that my health plan covers…read more I've been seeing Alexandra Dreyer, ND, LAc as my acupuncturist && in addition, started seeing Dr. Nate Lorenc as my chiropractor. The facility is beautiful inside and out. I have not had to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen after getting check in as soon as I walk in. They are a little flexible with their appointments - I was scheduled to work one day I had an early appointment set && they had no problem changing my appointment to later in the day. So convenient. (Mind you, they do have a fee for cancelation within 24hours OR no shows, so idk if they always approve the switches on such short notice.) I would highly suggest ANYONE start going here for their alternative medical needs.

Clearly my son isn't the first neuro-divergent patient he's had and it shows. This office is very organized and clean and although our visit required us to go on 3 different floors, I never felt lost. It was actually one of our shorter appointments, I was very surprised. There really aren't many choices for pediatric eye care in Alaska, and I'm glad this is an option…read more I was able to get appointment quickly, short wait, and great bedside manner with nervous kid. What more can you ask for? Two things to be mindful of: 1. I was told a patch would be given to us for kid and it was not. Kind of a big deal since I am not in the area and have to order them and wait for shipping. 2. Kid was given eye exam, but they only measure Pupilary Distance if you specifically ask for it. Other providers I've gone to write it down without you having to ask. So then you get home and go to order glasses and surprise - incomplete prescription. So just have to remind them to follow through on these two items.
