Staff here is very unwelcoming. Especially the young woman working in the back. My experience there was horrible, apparently serving customers takes no President over personal life. After waiting for five minutes minutes at the counter, I received really harsh attitude when I had a question and left the establishment feeling disrespected.....if I could give less than 1 star I would!!! read more

Walmart in Whiteville, you suck! You have to be the worst department store…read moreI've ever stepped into. It's one thing that you're understocked compared to other area Walmarts but your customer service is also horrible. Where did you get the idea that it would be good to get rid of all physical employees that are cashiers and expect your hundreds of waiting customers to stand in a line that's backed up to near the back of the store for the wonderful opportunity to use one of your 4 crappy self checkout registers that are open? Btw, the line would probably move faster if you didn't have to insert your card 3 times into the keypad then swipe for it to work. A mixed cocktail of STD's would be better than a shopping adventure at your store.

I took some time to look at the merchandise (rings, watches, necklaces, watches, charms, etc), which were very over priced. While looking, I held a conversation with the woman behind the counter about the sweltering heat outside. In the middle of our convo she begins to talk about her niece who dates a drug dealer that she personally hates. The stars given in my review derive from her next statement.... and I quote.... "my niece is white of course, and his old trifling drug selling butt is BLACK. I just don't understand why she loves him so." At this point I'm just looking at her because I'm confused about how this relates to air conditions and outdoor temperatures. Me being me (and being black), I asked, "so do you dislike him because he's blk or because he sales drugs?" She began to look embarrassed... I didn't bother waiting on her answer, I just nicely stated that drug dealers, assholes, and trifling ppl come in all colors, shapes, and sizes. I told her thank you and left.
