Walmart in Whiteville, you suck! You have to be the worst department store I've ever stepped into. It's one thing that you're understocked compared to other area Walmarts but your customer service is also horrible. Where did you get the idea that it would be good to get rid of all physical employees that are cashiers and expect your hundreds of waiting customers to stand in a line that's backed up to near the back of the store for the wonderful opportunity to use one of your 4 crappy self checkout registers that are open? Btw, the line would probably move faster if you didn't have to insert your card 3 times into the keypad then swipe for it to work. Terrible, poor management. The only thing managers want to do is tell personell what to do and how to do it. Managers are always on the loud radio, where everyone can hear what is being said. The managers need to teach by example. Not just push the job aside for some first timer or young employee just learning the job. read more

Severely bad customer service, no one answers when you call or they either hang the phone up on you, rude associates. Only reason I'm leaving one star is because there isn't a option to leave none at all. Very disappointed in this store and wouldn't shop at the Whiteville location if There was another store closer. read more

I like it. Curteous staff and affordable prices. You can find almost anything in this place. Food,clothes, electronics, toys.
