Upon arrival the interior of this incredibly welcoming bar was a buzz with well dressed clients. We of course sat down and ordered the usual, the champagne of beer and a sidecar of Fernet Branca. After asking for a menu we were delivered a bag of half consumed cheddar popcorn, albeit delicious, a bit off putting. (We ate it anyway because it was delicious...see above) The service by, I believe caylee, was quite above average. The beer was cold and the Fernet Branca was gross as always. After playing Pearl Jam at max volume on the touch tunes jukebox we had the entire bar singing along. This truly became the time of our life, a true 10/10 experience. Pro tip: become friends with all the bartenders and you're life will magically change for the immediate better. read more

Can't believe I am just now finding this Gem of an Irish Pub. I have been passing it daily on way to and from work. Finally noticed it. This is a place you come to chill with friends over drinks and conversation. Unfortunately they do not serve food here, but don't let that bother you. Stop in before or after dinner. This is quite the spot. The Irish Bartender Ashley is very friendly. So happy to have noticed this place. I will definitely now call this a hometown bar in the great city of Cleveland. I would say that trying to make it more eye popping from the street would be a good idea. Maybe hang an Irish Flag outside? Anyways.... Awesome Pub! Check it out. read more

I love this bar. It's one of the best kept secrets in Cleveland -- and as queer and cliched as that sounds, it's TRUE. As far as Mick bars in Cleveland go this has got to be one of the greatest. (Sorry, no offense -- I'm Italian. You can call me a dago or any other ethnic slur you can think of, deal?) It looks kinda sketch from the outside but I assure you, it's NOT on the inside! McNamara's is the dive that keeps on diving. The drinks are CHEAP! $5 for two cocktails cheap. It's always happy hour at McNamara's. BUT BEWARE! If your timing is bad and McNamara's is swarming with regulars, you will likely bring the average age of the bar down by 15 years. I just moved into my new apartment in the neighborhood. I found out that my friends live over by 100th and Detroit. So we went to a few different places on Saturday. They told me to meet up at McNamara's. I have passed the place a ton of times and always was intrigued. I am glad that we did go in. This bar is a nice, well-kept secret. I don't want to get into all of the details. Stop in and check it out next time you are around W 65th or Edgewater area. I am noticing that I am being more reclusive as the days pass. Been wanting to stop in here for awhile and so glad I finally did last night with some friends. Incredibly cozy spot, definitely a bar I could see myself at regularly. I go here all the time to play darts and watch sports. It's my favorite pub, and the drinks are cheap. Most of the clientele are cool, and the staff is very friendly. Not too loud and it's never too crowded for my liking. It's definitely not a trendy hot spot and I hope it stays that way. read more

Love this place! It was described to me as a dive bar, but didn't feel like it at all to me. Nice interior with brick walls which was very cozy! Jukebox was awesome and prices were cheap-$2 domestic bottles all the time! No food there, but they let you order pizza there which is clutch! Will definitely be back! read more

I like this joint a lot. Bartenders are attentive and courteous and the customers are generally laid back. Its rarely packed or too loud. There's no food, but plenty of delivery options moments away. There's even a Mr. Hero that delivers there. read more
