The pool needs to be skimmed more often and the lifeguards still do not keep people that are not swimming laps out of lap lanes like they should when they are being used. They let people just hang out and they are constantly getting in the way. The lifeguards I have met are very courteous though. Ryan and Caleb especially. They do a good job guarding and enforcing the diving board rules.

Love it here! Pros:…read moreIt's huge. Pool is yuuuuuuuuuge. Never felt crowded here, it has lots and lots of space. It's the biggest outdoor pool I think I've seen, and has large bleachers nearby, as well as a very generously sized kiddie pool. Lots of lounge chairs, many of which have shade. Large, clean, gorgeous scenery. I also highly recommend them for events! We had my daughter's second birthday here in July. I was really worried about the temperature, but we had a room that had two open sides and such a great cross breeze! Everyone who came commented on bow perfect it was. The price was super reasonable, too. Cons: Kind of confusing schedule and rules. I think it's weird that you have to go over to Center of Clayton to get signed up. I wasn't aware of that the first time I went. Their schedule is also very confusing online. Their online schedule makes it look like the kiddie pool doesn't open until noon, but when we went this weekend, it seemed open in the morning. Parking is very tricky, and the whole thing is just kind of confusing (entrances, finding the locker rooms and bathrooms yourself, etc. Overall, gorgeous location, do recommend!

It makes the pools less crowded, and I'm sure is easier on the lifeguards and maintenance staff. I have no complaints about my time actually poolside. However, I am knocking a star for their terrible online ticketing website. It appears they limit non-resident passes to twenty a day, which makes getting put into a que and then taken to another page, which was finicky, to pay with credit card quite annoying and also nervemaking, as I worried we had driven out for nothing as the number of tickets left went down... Anyway, I was impressed overall. Not sure I'll be back out before it closes for the season (mid-August, which seems early), but I was happy to invited once!

Rude front desk staff ruined the experience…read more On June 21 around 1 PM, I came to the facility with my sisters, excited to enjoy a swim. Unfortunately, the indoor pool was at capacity--which is completely understandable. What wasn't okay was how the front desk staff spoke to us when we arrived. Instead of simply informing us the pool was full, the woman at the desk said, "Y'all was ready to go swimming, huh?" in a tone that came off sarcastic and dismissive. It felt like we were being mocked for just showing up ready to enjoy the amenities. We didn't cause any trouble--we just wanted to enjoy our day. But that comment and her attitude made us feel extremely unwelcome and embarrassed for no reason. That's not how guests should be treated, especially not when they're following the rules and coming in with good intentions. We ended up going to the outdoor pool instead, but the interaction at the front desk stuck with me. A little professionalism and courtesy would've gone a long way. I hope management seriously considers retraining staff on how to speak to guests respectfully--because this was a major disappointment.
