The Pavilion, in it's current format is a wonderful space where musicians and more perform. I've even gone to a yoga class at one point that was a perfect stretching exercise. Both the Pavilion and the golf course offer food and drink. The golf course being off of everyone's radar because people think golf. But here too is a great balcony, overlooking the 9th hole. That space overlooks the dog park so you can still keep an eye on your pooch. The staff did a great job monitoring the pups and diffusing any aggressive behavior. They need a better system for cleanups, possibly a mop bucket? The outside patio area was ok but owners aren't required to pick up their dogs business so there is a lot of waste out there. It's a nice space but would avoid when it's very busy.

A walking path through a nature preserve with a pond that actually roars in the spring from frogs calling out to each other. There are various exercise stations along the path with stretching equipment. Add a tennis court and we have compact park with nearly everything tucked away in a quiet corner of the twin cities.

Also it's right behind dale so if you're not behind the barrier of treeline it's loud and well you've been on dale before. What it does right? This is an amazing beautiful location. Plenty of grills some new some old. I like that it's a small water body. It's enclosed with sidewalk & all the park benches are a good distance. There's also lot of open field, a bathroom building, a playground for children and a pair of small volleyball nets. There's also a pier that I believe is chair accessible.
