Not sure what happened to McMullen Ford but I will never take either of my 2 cars there again for service. We took our Ford Fusion in for a squealing noise. First they make you do a $179 diagnostic for something that should have been obvious and wouldn't waive the charge even though I was going to have them do the work to fix it. The issue was the front brake pads and they said that since they don't resurface the rotors I would need new rotors for the front as well. They quoted me $837.99 for just the front pads and rotors! This included the diagnostic charge but still, are you kidding me?? The diagnostic found a couple other issues but honestly I would want a second opinion on those especially since their quote was over $1000 on those. After I pushed back on the pricing, they offered a slight reduction in price on the pads/rotors, but not nearly enough to keep my business. I ate the diagnostic charge and couldn't get my car out of there fast enough. Beware! read more

Aaron "Beuks" Beukelman, Pete in Finance and team were amazing to work with today on leasing a new '24 Bronco Sport. My wife and I just went in to see if there was any way we could possibly purchase or lease a vehicle without a down payment as we were at the end of a not so great lease experience with another brand/dealer and still had to have money for a final payment and fees to walk away from that lease. Even though I had purchased my truck from McMullen 4 years prior and had a fantastic experience, we weren't expecting to get into a new vehicle. Well, Aaron and his manager went above and beyond to make things work out for us and now we can rest easy knowing we can move on from that bad experience and move forward with McMullen and a new Ford my wife loves! Thank you guys for being so awesome! I'll be buying my next truck from McMullen for sure, you've earned a customer for life today. read more

Service date 2023-08-02 - never returning - details below We took our vehicle in for the works package. The shuttle driver to bring my wife home didn't use GPS. She had to give him directions. When the car was ready to be picked up, they called and were surprised they needed to come get her after having dropped her off earlier. A few minutes go by, and the driver calls to say he is here to pick her up... there is no one outside. She calls him back, turns out he went to the wrong house and is now still 15 minutes away. They need a better system for coordinating with their shuttle drivers. While the shuttle aspect is annoying and would have gotten 3 stars, the details below move it to a 1 star because there is not a lower rating. Upon return with the receipt, the works package which was the scheduled service, advertised at $74.95 ended up costing $89.09. This is the second time we have gone there and the billing has been higher than the advertised price. They know the vehicle they are servicing ahead of time, because part of scheduling the service requires the VIN. So, there shouldn't be anything unexpected, but there always is. The first time, I thought it could have been an honest mistake. Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice, shame on you. We will never return here again for service. Instead, we will choose to travel 96% farther to a different ford service center. read more

We broke down on Saturday and had to wait until Monday for repair, they got us in 1st thing and we were on our way before noon. It was a long awaited vacation trip and they really helped us out. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Thank you read more

the service personnel is always very nice and accommodating. I was very disappointed this time around not because of the service but because of the pricing. $1170 was our quote to replace 2 motor mounts. I ended up taking it to another reputable shop here is town that completed the repairs for $805. I expect to pay a little more at the dealership but almost $400 difference for the same repair is a bit excessive. read more

End of lease buy out. Called was told we could come in on Sat. Got there to find out we couldn't do it sat cause they were to busy. Called around 4pm to see if they were less busy, now we r told they don't do end of lease buy out on Sat. Made an appt for 5:30pm got there n the finance guy dint know we were coming. What kind of business n employees don't notify each other abt policy. The finance guy said he couldn't get us financed, the banks were closed, but tomorrow he could get it done. NO, we made an appt, help us now. He wouldn't, so we left McMullen (nvr to return) went to Woodhouse Ford everything was done right then n there. McMullen can stick their business up their asses!! Totally ripped me off on a cabin air filter replacement. Up charged me over 100 % then charged me another $60.00 to put it in. Scam artists at their finest. Service manager is rude and arrogant. They are a bunch of thieves. Wanted to charge my grandson 2K for air conditioning service. Told him the compressor is $1300. I can buy one on Amazon for $300. My husband and I bought our retirement car in 2013 at McMullen Ford. After owning the car for 5 years it started to have problems. McMullen Ford was real good at fixing it at first while my husband was still alive after my husband passed away I was ignored. I called numerous times to get the car in to be serviced as it was experiencing times where it would not run and was told that they would call me when they had a spot opened to take care of my car. This went on for well over a month, I would call they would tell me they would call me when they had a spot open they never called me my car was never fixed. The car was still under warranty as we bought the extended warranty. I ended up selling the car for a very low price and buying a used car to be able to get around as the 2013 Ford fusion did not run. So buyer beware if there's something wrong with the car they sell you and they have to fix it numerous times you will get to a point where they will no longer fix it for you even if it's under warranty. read more

So I went in about a month ago seriously shopping for a new car. I already had an idea of what I wanted and wanted to look at numbers. The salesman who was in his 70's told me I could go online and look at all the available vehicles. We went inside honking we were going to look at numbers but he gave me his business card and asked me to not throw it away until I left the lot. Needless to say I didn't buy a car from this dealership. read more

I can only speak to my used car service experience so if you are buying a NEW car from them and get it serviced by them, everything may be entirely different for you. Noticed a leak on my 2010 Jeep. Brought it in to McMullen because it has been approximately 3 months and 3 weeks since I bought it FROM THEM. I have put less than 2,000 miles on the vehicle, living only 5 minutes from work. The service department quoted a price of $850 over the phone to get it fixed and that I would have to pay it entirely myself since my warranty expired on March 3rd 2017 and I was calling in on March 22nd 2017. I thought surely with the low miles of use and the time since purchase they would help pay for this repair. It took getting a hold of a manager outside the service department to say that they could cover half as a show of good faith. This was okay by me and I told them to go ahead. I got a loaner vehicle from them to get to and from work as a part needed had to be ordered. A day later I am called to say it is ready and that my half would be $500.68 Wait a minute. They were very specific about the 50/50 split and that my half would be $425 so what happened? The service department told me he read the wrong line quoting the parts cost only. I will never recommend this dealership for a used car for ANYONE. He would not stand by his original quote and I had to pay this new amount to get my vehicle back. On the phone he also attempted to make me think he was doing me a favor which I abruptly shot down. Never tell someone one price then expect them to pay another. McMullen or the service guy should have paid the $75.68 Stick to new vehicles with them. DO NOT BUY USED. read more

The salesman at McMullen Ford was not pushy, which we liked, I'd give him a 4. However, we specifically asked for a black bumper and grille on our new F250. The truck came in with a chrome bumper. We will now have to do an aftermarket swap. Additionally, the dealership charged too much for state registration. When queried the salesman was helpful but the lady in the title office at the dealership was brusque and borderline rude. Need to keep her away from customers. Also, because of the error in registration dealership then realized they had overcharged me $1000. This was sloppy back-office paperwork pushing. read more

Awful, terrible place. Wish I could give less than one star. Their service department is terrible, their sales staff is high pressure, and frankly, they don't have that many cars to choose from. Do yourself a favor and keep driving west if you have your heart set on a Ford. read more

HORRIBLE customer service. My son in law stopped in there today and was treated rudely immediately and so he left. My husband had gone in there a few weeks ago and was treated the same way. This is by far the worst dealership We have dealt with. Purchased a new Edge in May and just had a tire go bad, They required us to purchase a 280.00 tire with no warranty at all . I took my car to the body shop to have the bumper covers and the trunks lid changed (I provided all the parts). I asked them to get it ready for a vinyl wrap, which they don't do and recommended a shop that does. They didn't bother to change the fog lights from the old one to the one I brought them. This would have been extremely fast and easy on the workbench. A friend looked at the trunk lid and asked why the gaps are so far off. The back fenders had dents about the size of an egg and they didn't bother to fix them! I was in a hurry when I picked it up and overlooked the damage they didn't fix. I moved out of town shortly thereafter or else I would take them to small claims court. I can NOT recommend them. When I complained to Matt, the body shop manager, he tried to smooth it over by telling me he fired the idiot that worked on it. read more

Avoid this place like a sticky wet public toilet seat, below posters comments fit like a glove.

I will never go to their service department again, unless I want to be talked down to and get into an argument about what is clearly in my warranty package. Terrible customer service, and if you're a woman get ready to get "mansplained" to about basic car knowledge(even though I have restored cars and worked on them since I was a kid). I love Fords, but I will be going to another dealer for all service. read more

I travel so the likelihood of me returning is slim but being treated with a sigh checking out when I asked about a multipoint, that was done but never filled out and being told that they don't check brakes on a dually I can't recommend going there. Worst dealership I have ever felt with. First they sell me a car with a bad brake booster and tell me there vehicles are all up to inspection. This is about as easy of a car buying experience as you are gonna get. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Even with an appointment, vehicle wasn't even serviced even though it was kept for 4 days. Then i was told that i should've informed them that I needed the vehicle back the same day. So of course it was my fault. I'm not a Ford expert but pretty sure it doesn't take that long to change out a couple lights and a screw in the tire. But then again it is a Ford so who knows. read more

If you need service work or need to have a recall fixed, the people you deal with here are very very rude. There is no such thing as customer service at this place. To Harry the President of McMullen Ford, I called your dealership and asked the receptionist for someone that could make decisions over the phone as I live 156 miles away in Liberty Mo. She nicely transfered me, but didn't say to whom. HIM: Hello, this is Rick (or Rich) ME: Hi, how are you today?! HIM: I'm fine (in not a great tone at all) ME: What position do you have? (I asked because I didn't know if I was transferred to the right dept). HIM: I'm the desk man (in a sour tone) ME: That's great! (because I was transfer to the right dept). I continued with: "I actually desked over in Califorrnia!" HIM: YA, I see by your area code, so I'm wondering why you're calling me. So YOUNG MAN, get to your point, I'm BUSY! ME: Well old man, I'm actually calling on your 2003 Eddie Bauer Expedition you have listed in cars.com HIM: That was delivered on Saturday. - - - - -- - - - - - - - - -- - - WOW,,,, Seriously?!?!!? In this day in age, people keep their area codes. So I could've been calling from 5 miles away for all you knew!! You were rude!!! I myself being in the car business since the early 90's would have never spoke to ANYONE like that. I'm sure the McMullen group are a bunch of fine people, but truly, I wouldn't buy from this dealership as long as that man is desking deals. I bought a used car from these yahoo's. I paid $10,000 cash for a car for my son to use for college. The car looked mint and had only 80,000 miles on it. I wasn't offered an extended warranty at time, and most likely wouldn't of thought I would need one. My son drove to college and returned wihin a month. We took it in to have the oil changed at Jiffy lube. They noticed it had a leak at the pan. So, we took it in to Mini Cooper BMW in Omaha. They found three leaks and a bad water pump. It was going to be $3500 to fix. I called McMullen spoke to the Owner Dan McMullen to see if they would remedy the situation, and he said tough, not his problem go pound sand. I will never go back, I hate being played for a fool because I am a female. I purchased my car 2 yrs ago with a 7 yr extended warranty. The service member acted like he had no idea what I was talking about after he looked up my vin number realized I wasn't lying I told him I receive free oil and last time I told a different ford a receive free oil 3,000 miles later my car is out of oil. The he made stupid excuses like because my car uses 5w20 and it's 2 yrs old it won't last as long. When his first excuse was because my last oil change was 6 months ago he probably just has to reset it. Then I have 8 more free services left this yr and he wanted to charge me for my service. Then he said most ford dealerships don't use ford company oil and bc my car requires synthetic oil my oil mileage will only get worse, I can change my own oil thank you I grew up with vehicles. If you're that dumb I don't even want you touching my car. read more

McMullen Ford was dishonest and flat out stole money from my parents who are both in their 80s. The new car was picked up on Saturday 6/3. They wanted to bring it back on Monday 6/5 because my Mother could not see well out of the car and my Father decided he was having a difficult time getting out. They would have brought the car back the very next day but it was Sunday and the dealership was closed. My parents asked for their trade and their money back. The salesperson said he didn't know where their van was. He put them off for two more days with excuses until they had enough and went in to discuss with Scott McMullen on 6/7. He said their car was now considered used, titled in their name and wanted to charge them $7000 to bring the vehicle back. Here is the best part....they asked for their van back on Monday 6/5. McMullen went ahead and sent the paperwork to the county days after they asked for their vehicle back and still titled in their name on 6/8. That is 3 days after my Dad asked for his van back. A day after they met with Scott McMullen who told them it was already titled in their name. They ended up keeping $5000 of my parent's money on a car they brought back with 49 miles on it. They could have given their van back and not sent the paperwork to the courthouse but they chose to get a sale on the books and take advantage of an elderly couple by putting them off long enough to get it titled in their name. They are crooks from the top down to the sales staff. DO NOT purchase a vehicle at McMullen Ford. There is no honesty or integrity at that dealership. Ron was the salesman's name and Scott McMullen is a joke. read more
