Don't get repairs done there even if you have a warranty. Go somewhere else. You can go to a shop ask them to check your warranty and give you a quote for the repairs. Edward Nissan, charges for everything even for what they should be able to do like diagnose a car. People used to go to the mechanic and say, my window doesn't go down, can you repair it. They would normally look at it and tell you what's wrong, call the warranty to make sure is covered. You would then just pay for your copay. Afterall, you already paid an arm and a leg for the warranty. Well, now you have to pay $175.00 for them to diagnose; because "apparently, they have no way at all of knowing what could possibly be wrong without taking the whole thing apart." This whole process starts off so amazing. The sales crew is your best friends. You get sold a buch of stuff. Then comes time to use the goods you have been sold. This is where the customer service disappears. They have your money now its time for the "NO" guys. No that isn't covered under the bumper to bumper warranty that David Kang the Sales Professional said to me over and over that was covered. That Crystal Pickens the Service Advisor advised to me over and over that was covered. Using the term bumper to bumper its covered. Lies. Lies to get me my money. Won't cover it but will give me a $2300 estimate to get it fixed. Give me oil changes to make sure they have opportunities to up sale you. I bought a new Nissan Frontier at first everything was great Jack in sales was good to deal with we do the financing they tell us how great the warranty's are for everything we even got the rust proofing and window tint. We walk out to get our new truck and the windshield is broken Jack tells us the windshield will be replaced right away we take the truck home Saturday I have to keep calling to find out when it will be fixed finally Wednesday at 5:00 P.M. service called and informed me we still have a week and a half before the windshield will be repaired I am supposed to drop the truck off and they will get to it when they are ready. As for the window tint and rust proofing still have not heard anything I have scheduled to have it done and pay out of my pocket. I called to cancel the warranties and left a message now no one will return my call. I am now positive the warranties are not worth the paper they are printed on.what a joke this dealership is, I had told them the horrible experience I have had they assured me they are not like that and they are that bad now I am out $3500.00 on warranties that I will never use there. read more

My wife posted a long and detailed review of this place, but I wanted to briefly share my two-cents: We were looking at cars and I was organized, so I brought the exact cars I wanted to look at. After just a couple minutes, Dexter, our salesman, pointed them out and let us take a look inside. After test driving one of them and giving it a complete 'walk through', we stepped inside to talk numbers. As my wife mentioned, there was a guy laughing hysterically and said Rachel a few times and asked her if she was Rachel. This made us feel a tad uncomfortable. I understand that you need to have fun at your job, I get it, but don't make your customers feel uncomfortable while doing so. But Dexter was nice and super knowledgeable about Kia's, especially the Sorento. He is a car salesman, so he had to be pushy, and it didn't seem abrasive like my wife and I have seen at other dealerships. We went over to the finance building to talk about the actual numbers and warranties and whatnot, and Antonio was pretty cool. He was very professional and seemed to know what he was doing. I don't remember the manager we talked to at the end, maybe Stewart, but he was nice. There was one thing that rubbed me the wrong way at this point; and to me its a major thing. I overheard one of them, either Stewart or Antonio, maybe Stewart, say that there was someone else waiting and the other guy needed to hurry up with us and I could tell that he was in a hurry with us. If the numbers were a tad higher, I probably would have just walked out. We are making a rather large investment and we would appreciate their time in taking their time with us, and answering all of our questions as detailed as they could. Please think twice about buying from Edwards Nissan and double check your numbers. We were charged $895 for GAP insurance, which we were not asked about. We were also charged $342 for Tire & Wheel insurance. Again, we were not asked if we wanted this. It was just added to our paperwork. Our fault for not catching it at the time of sale, but it was the end of the day/closing time. We had waited more than an hour for the finance guy. We were tired and still had a 2-hour drive ahead of us. We did eventually get these charges removed, but it took NUMEROUS phone calls and 6 weeks of waiting. I would not recommend buying a car from this dealership due to their shady finance department. They said these charges were added on "accident," but we believe they most likely do this to all customers. Please check your paperwork. Also, we did not take the car home that day because there was a recall on it that needed fixed. They told us they would deliver it to us. It was delivered to us by two older gentleman with no return car! These poor guys were 2 hours away with no way to get home. So ridiculous and such poor communication! I was pretty much decided on one but when I asked to test drive the car, the sales representative (I think his name was steven) told me "I'm not going to go get a bunch of keys until you decide which car to buy". I felt that his approach was aggressive and I felt a pressure to buy. I was pretty upset so I ended up leaving and buying almost the same exact Altima at Woodhouse in Omaha. While you never want to have an experience like we did at Edwards Nissan, there has to be something said for mending fences. The day after our experience, the Sales Manager called my phone around 1pm. He asked me to call so he could apologize for our experience. My husband returned the call and came away with the following - the price would be back to the original from when we called, we could take the car on an extended test drive, and they would wash the car. We really loved this car - and so it was the open door that we needed. They set it aside for us until Friday (2 days). We took it for a night so Brian could check out the engine thoroughly. In the end, we bought it! The experience on the back end was a much better one than how it began. This is a testament to the fact that Customer Service does matter - and that 2nd impressions are possible. Edwards does watch Yelp - and Yelp helped to recover this sale/purchase. The service department of Edwards Nissan is absolutely horrendous. I brought my new 2019 Murano in for its first, 5,000 miles service including some warranty work. The warranty issue required a new part that was back-ordered. No big deal. But that the Edwards employee succeeded in lifting the Murano improperly, causing approx $3,500 damage to both front fenders, is not acceptable. Of course, they deny it ever happened until you get damage reports from experts and have your attorney involved. They fixed it. A while later they call you and ask you to come in since the warranty part ($4K) had come in. Dumb me, I go back to get this warranty work performed, an employee of Edwards steals checks out of my checkbook (which was in the closed center console) and cashes one. I couldnt decide between 2 models pathfinder vs murano, after weighing options i went with murano, but then i couldnt decide between SL or platinum, then color... i told Marc, to run my credit i was going to eat lunch grab my husband and come back and i would have answer for him. Came back with spouse Marc went out to the cars went over options and showed cars all over again, was so patient with me. I made the purchase, Marc went through the delivery and i was so impressed and didnt realize all the options and probably would never found without going over. SELLER BEWARE: The offer letters they have been sending out to purchase your used car are 100% fictitious. I got a letter offering $13,780 for my wife's vehicle. I was not in the market to sell her car or buy another vehicle as it's been 2 years since I had a payment. But the letter got me interested. The letter states and I quote "we are willing to pay $13,780 for your vehicle." No where in the letter does it say; up to, at the most, not exceeding. The letter even states, that they will make the trip worth our time. They appraised my car and came back with an offer of $10,200, well under both their offer letter and KBB "good" range for trade in value. Stated that, their was hail damage and needed new tires. The hail damage they speak of is three tiny dings on the hood and one on the roof. We're talking less then $500 in paintless dent repair. The tires!!... the tires on this vehicle are less then 6000 miles old, they've been on the car for 8 months... Even if the tires needed changed, we're talking 500-750 max for them to "fix" these things. And let's be honest, dealerships don't pay anywhere close to what average consumers pay for products and services, such as tires and paint-less dent repair. On top of that, they would have sold this car without fixing the hail damage for no less then $15,000. So it makes one wonder, if the original offer was $13,780, and they "fixed" these things for $750 (again, absolute max), then basic math says the new offer should be $13,030... Right?!... If that wasn't bad enough, when he showed me the appraisal, he said his manager Heath recommends that I sell it private and then come back with cash and we can work a deal on a new vehicle. Which I responded, I respect that you aren't the one that sent out these letters, but based off this experience I will not be back. He says, o ok, stands up, rips the offer letter up in front of us and walks away without another word or giving back the keys to our vehicle. I had to walk to the managers office to get the keys, where the salesman shoved the keys in my wives hands. My wife, being the non confrontational type, just says, thank you for your time, started shoving me out the door, cuz she could tell how angry I was getting. And the salesman, begrudgingly said, u huh, and walked away. What absolute shit service. Both my wife and I took off early from work to make the time work for Edwards, spent our gas and time to get there. Make it worth my time.. Absolutely ridiculous. In the past 8 years, I've leased a '14 Kia Forte, '16 Kia Optima, '21 Ram 1500; bought a '16 Kia Soul and '16 Nissan Altima with Edwards Auto Group. All my business has gone through Edwards Auto Group for the past 8 years; with the exception with the 1500 I got through Edwards Chrysler, they've all been with Edwards Nissan / Kia . Never again will i do business with this company. They are purposely misleading customers just to get them in the door, hoping their salesman charm will have you forget they lied to you in the first place. And when it doesn't go their way, they act like spoiled children. Shame on you GM Chuck Norman, for this very shady business practice and not teaching your staff some tact and respect. I've personally shared this with my coworker and sister who both also got these letters. And you will not be getting their business either, it's the least I can do. I took my car to the Kia service department and asked them to do an oil change and take a look at my breaks due to them making a sound. They did the oil change, but did not look at the brakes. I asked the front desk person if they did and she said she would check. She took me to the back and said that she would take me to the manager, but she took me to who I thought was the manager, but was not. She asked about the brakes and if they looked at them, and the guy huffed and said I bet he "fucking wants it done fucking now doesn't he?" That's when I spoke up and said I don't need to have it done now, but I need to know if it's going to be an emergent issue or not. The guy, Mike, said let's take a look. I then got in the car and showed him what the noises were, and he got out and looked at the rotors and said there is a rusty build up on the rotor. He said the Nissan department puts on aftermarket rotors, which I thought all rotors are aftermarket if it's a used car, he continued and said all I have to do is reverse real hard a few times and slam on the break. At that time I knew that if I did that I would end up changing my brake pads because they would then be worn down. I asked him if they could turn the rotors and he said well I don't need to do that and I am not going to touch it. He then repeated himself and said all you have to do is put it in reverse and slam on the brakes a few times. I ended up taking my car to another dealership and I was told that there should not have been a build up that size on the rotor. I was told that it should have been cut on the inspection since I only had the car two months. I then called my cells person and ask them about Edwards paying for the repair since this was an issue that, 1. Wasn't caught on inspection and 2. The service department said they wouldn't fix. After taking it to another repair shop, I was charged $300. I called Edwards and spoke to the general manager. He basically tried to pawn it off and say since it wasn't done at our facility, we are not responsible for the payment. I replied with the reasons, not caught on inspection and a rust ring should not been built up to that point, that Edward should be responsible for the payment of the turning of the rotors. I explained again that I did not feel that I could take it to the service department at Edwards because I was told they would refuse to fix my car. The general manager stated "that does not hold water with me." I have heard horror stories about Edwards in the past, but I thought I would give them a chance. That was a horrible mistake. Unfortunately my sales person, who was probably the nicest person I have met in the car dealership department, is stuck with that company. The general manager at Edwards a Kia an Nissan knows that there is a compensation account for issues like this and Could not even take responsibility for the poor service that his department gave me while I was there at Edwards Kia. It's only $300 out of their account, due to their neglect to follow through on inspection and turn rotors, and tell me that they wouldn't fix it and the service department saying "I bet he wants it fucking fixed fucking now. Please, add this to your do not give a chance list because I thought I would. I had a great experience during the sales, but everything there after has been horrible!! read more

Still trying to figure out how my car went in with nothing wrong with the tires being messed up or any lugnuts being loose. No sound coming from my car besides the engine issue. i brought it in for a recall on my engine. I get my car back, with no explanation of this huge list they gave me of "things wrong", just handed the keys and sent on my way, no recommendation of getting anything fixed that could be a safety issue. Plus it's making a horrible noise. Before i even get the chance to bring my car back or call, due to my work schedule & being scared to even drive it back down there, my whole tire and rim and everything flew off as I'm driving with my child in the car. I had my car back less than a week, 6 days to be exact. I call and they tell me basically that it was my fault. I was understandably upset when i called, seeing as my daughter and i just almost lost our lives, but the way that they treated me and belittled me was not ok. They told me they will not help me or do anything for me. I declined their tow truck service because this is now the second time (first time was in 2016 and i never wanted to go back after that) they have ignored safety issues with my vehicle and just let me drive off the lot in it. They will not take fault or tell me what their service department did or did not touch on my vehicle & they tell me they have no detailed list of the work they did & don't have cameras either so that i can get to the bottom of how in the world my tire just happened to fly off after getting it back from their service department. Never again in my life will i use this company to buy a car or get my car serviced. HORRIBLE. If i could give negative stars i sure would. I spoke to a service manager named Gage and a general manager named Chuck. They were horrible to me, both of them. The entire process of them having my car this last time was a nightmare. My car was towed down there on a Sunday, i did not hear from anybody until i called that Thursday & was told i was "assigned" to someone named Jennifer. When i was transferred to her she told me she would call me back. Never did. I called back Monday, still didn't talk to Jennifer or hear from her, but they told me they would be done the next day, mind you i still had no idea my car was even being fixed under the recall, i was told nothing. I declined them fixing a whole long list of things at the time because i wanted to have my dad come down with me and talk to them about all the things they named as i did not know what they were. Still no word from Jennifer until the next day (tuesday) when she called me at 4:15 asking if I'm coming to get my car or not because they closed at 5. i didn't even know it was ready to be picked up so obviously i wasn't able to get it that day. Next day i go to pick it up and basically i get handed my keys and sent on my way. Never had anyone explain all the issues like i asked for, just handed my keys and out the door. 6 days later, When my tire flys off i call back and i find out this woman with poor communication skills doesn't even work for them anymore (SHOCKER). The entire staff has been unprofessional from the moment i have started dealing with them. Dave Stahr our salesman told use because I am a veteran they would give use $400, Kia and there appreciation for veterans. Dave said he could not use a copy of my military ID I have and asked me to text a copy of my DD214 to him after we got back home. I did, then he asked me to email a copy which I did and also to the finance manager. He then asked me to mail a hard copy to them which I did. $ months later we still have not received the $400. The last phone conversation about a month ago was its going in the mail that day. We never received anything. My wife and I found ourselves presented with a great chance to sell my vehicle and get a new one. My wife likes her Kia Sedona, so I decided to look at Kia for my next vehicle. We looked at H&H Kia and Edwards Kia. H&H was a disappointment, whereas I was impressed with the service/attention given to us at Edwards (2 visits). We came from Nebraska, so we went out of our way to shop at Edwards Kia. I havent purchased a car in 9 years, and Edwards exceeded my expections on what to expect at the car dealership. The first night I went to the dealership, it was somewhat late (about 7:15pm). When I got in, I was greeted by Jim Daley and it was a wonderful experience! I was by myself, and I indicated to Jim that I was going to speak with my wife after our meeting and that I was not going to be signing anything on day 1. Jim was very friendly and upfront throughout the entire process. I can't say enough about how great it was to work with Jim! The first evening, he offered a test drive, gave me general information about the Kia Forte and Optima and estimated some offers based on my price point. Many dealers attempt to do the intrusive/pushy tactic where they slip a paper on the table with an offer available only if you sign right away (H&H did this - I could have a payment of $400-$410, no mention of term or APR). The sales manager at Edwards (Joe Sell) did ask if there was any offer he could make to get me to sign, but he was not pushy at all and dropped it once I said no. I was impressed with that, and impressed with Joe through the entire process. Many dealers try to be sneaky in making offers, leaving out the APR, term, or amount. Without all three, the offer is useless. For example, is your payment too high? We can drop it $100/month. Oh yeah, your loan is 84 months now and your APR is 7 percent. But, you got your payment! When I left the first evening, I had an offer based on my price to discuss with my wife and make an informed decision. My wife and I returned two days later to to work with Jim. I am sure I was aggravating Jim with my questions, but he was very patient and even explained anything to my wife that she wanted to know, even if he had already done so. Jim was very personable, patient, and informed throughout the entire process. Edwards was very impressive with regards to how they conduct business and refrain from usual car dealer tricks. The night we ended up purchasing our vehicle, we worked again with Joe on the offer. He ran several numbers, reflecting a variety of payment terms and down payments. He also discussed several financing options including a trade-in option that could potentially give me a tax break. He was very informative, easy to talk to, and straightforward without being sneaky or fast-talking his way through things. Our financing guy, Ron Phillips, was very friendly and even though he was there late, he took the time to answer any questions we had. We actually had a somewhat enjoyable time doing our paperwork! He was very friendly, even though we kept him 90 minutes past closing time. My only other comment regarding Ron was that he talked fast, but I attribute that to two things: it was past closing and, based on my line of work, I understand many of the contract items (GAP, warranty) we were discussing. Even though late night was convenient for me, I never felt rushed by the staff at Edwards. Once my vehicle was purchased, Jim had it fueled, washed, and heated! He even offered to stay later (already 90 minutes past closing) to help me pair my bluetooth devices to the vehicle. I added an auto-contract to my vehicle and later decided it wasn't going to be best for me, so I had the "experience" of cancelling the contract. If you search online, you see multiple horror stories. When I went back to cancel, I was 2 days away from the full-refund period expiring, so I was of course worried that I would somehow get screwed over. The papers were ready when I arrived and both Ron and Joe helped to assure me that everything was ok. I wanted to believe them, but it was a new experience for me. Jim told me he would follow up, which he did. Sure enough, within three weeks, I had my full refund. Quicker than I expected too! There are many chances for car dealers to disappoint and screw you. Edwards took care of my concerns through every step, before and after the deal. I was very impressed with Jim Daley, Joe Sell, and Ron Phillips. If you get your choice when you go in, seek these men out! I found myself there when I was split between a Hyundai, Subaru, and Nissan. I first parked over at the Hyundai dealership. Three men literally ran up to my car, opened my door, and asked what they could sell me...okay. No. I went to the Subaru dealership and was treated with amazing respect and no pressure. And if a Subaru would have been the right car for me, I would have gotten one there and then. I went over to the Nissan dealership, and that was a whole other story. I was approached by a man who had body odor and looked very dirty. I told him that I was looking for an Altima S with audio display package. He pulls up for me an SV (which if you don't know is about $2500 more). I told him it was more than I wanted, but tried to negotiate a price, and he wrote down his "VIP lowest price" and it was $500 under MSRP. That's horrible. I subsequently left and took my business over to Nissan of Omaha and purchased the Altima I wanted in the color that I wanted and got more from my trade AND more respect. Bottom line, it doesn't pay to cross the bridge to Council Bluffs. read more

My husband and I bought a car from them in November 2014. That experience was average and a little awkward, but I am happy with the vehicle. The problem started right after that. Within a couple weeks we received mail from them about a "big sale" they were having. We had just bought one so we weren't going to buy another. I called them and asked them to please remove us from the mailing lists because we are not planning on buying another car for a few years. I was informed our names/address would be removed. So I thought it was taken care of. Just a couple weeks later we received another one. I figured it was a mistake or it would take around 30 days to get us off the list since they use a third party for advertising, so I let that one go with no contact. Boy was I wrong! Next one came just a couple weeks later. So I called back and once again asked to be removed. They would take care of it they said. Since then, we have received a mailing from them on average every couple weeks. We have also received a few phones calls too. I have asked them at least 10 times by phone and a couple through Facebook to remove us from their mailing lists. Every single time I am assured it will be taken care of. I have even asked for the contact information for the company they use for advertising; however, I was told they could not give that to me. Funny, they can get my information but I can't have theirs. I'm starting to think it impossible to removed from their mailing lists, which I consider harassment since I have asked them to stop a ridiculous amount of times. Clearly, a few of the employees are flat out liars since they have always told me they would get my information removed. They have successfully ensured that me, my husband, and any member of my family will never step foot on any of their lots again for fear that we will bombarded with unsolicited mail or phone calls. read more

This place is a somthing else. Monday I called and talked to a sales person and let them know id be to their dealership Saturday with my vehicle I wanted to trade. I gave them the vin and miles and let them know I was wanting to trade on a vehicle they had. Gave them the stock number so it would make the process go a little quicker when I arrived. Unpon arrival they had not done anything to prepare. Had to do the appraisal all over again. When they pulled the vehicle I wanted to purchase around it looked like it had been used to recover flood victims in Houston. Black Armada was covered inside and out in mud and dirt. The manager must of noticed the disgust because he eventually took over. The vehicle was for my wife so when she saw the vehicle it was over before it started. She really wanted an Armada but after that experience shes back to the drawing board. read more

Took our car in our oil change, after they were done I noticed my check engine light on. Took it in for a diagnostic check and they over filled the oil by over a quart! What a joke. Get it together guys.... read more

The worst dealership ever!!! Their goal is to sale the inexperienced buyer all the additional extended warranties, such as tire, paint, interior protection. Gap, life and disability insurance making the total at 15,000.00 more than the unit cost. They also will tell the buyer that they do not have the option to pay for taxes, licensing and registration out of their pocket and they have to finance it in the loan. This is insane. PLEASE, PLEASE save yourself the agony and financial hardship of giving them your business and wasting your hard earned money. I had to select one star, which I deeply regret. We had to get a tire changed and some other things. We asked for a quote before changing the tire. We waited for about two hours and never got the quote. When we left, they had ordered a tire for us but never let us know about it. When we asked the guy about the tire, he said he didn't know and from just guessing, he guessed the quote was a certain amount. Very irritating. He said that he didn't know because he didn't due the paperwork. It doesn't matter if you did it or not. Take some responsibility. Makes Nissan look bad. read more

We Bought a pickup from these guys. Told them I wanted my payments to be only 340-350. We get there to do financing and our payments were 405.00. The financial guy said worst case scenario. Here it is Wednesday, no one has called us or tried to get a hold of us and that isn't what our plan was to pay for a payment. Unfortunately, My boyfriend loves the truck but very disappointed in the service. Left messages and no call back. Probably won't go back. They tell you what you want to hear, but that isn't in fact the truth. Sad! read more

I am currently in the market for a Mazda CX-5, and this dealership had the year I was looking for, with low milage, and the features I wanted so I contacted the dealer via the website CarGurus. I had questions regarding its maintenance history and some unresolved recalls that showed up on the CarFax. I received a call from a salesman that night. He asked what I was looking for, answered my questions, and even had the service department call me the next day and answer all of my questions as well. I was pleased with what I was hearing and the prompt customer service and planned to take a look at the car. The night before I was going to look at the car, my wife asked me what color it was. I told her it was red. Little did I know, after almost 6 years of marriage, she hates red cars (not a topic we discuss much because we aren't in the habit of buying and selling cars). By this time it was 8:00 at night so I couldn't call to cancel my appointment. However, the salesman text me to ensure we were still on to look at the car. I thanked him for his service but informed him I was no longer interested only because it is red and my wife doesn't like red cars. The following is the response I got via text. "So we ran around here answering your questions, having our service guys look everything up for you, and now you won't look at the car. You didn't know your wife hates red... Freaking Ridiculous" I never said I wouldn't buy a car from him, just not that car. I've never been treated so poorly in my life. Because of this interaction I will be following up with management and 100% will never step foot in this dealership and recommend others stay away as well. read more

*UPDATE We ended up buying a car from these guys and had a better experience. Our salesman was Dexter and he made me feel really good about the whole experience! I would recommend Dexter to anyone looking to buy a used car. He was flexible, but didn't make me feel uncomfortable. Antonio was our finance guy and he was a pleasure to work with. He had the right amount of "push," which is always nice. He was professional and knowledgable about his job. He was dressed nicely as well. Stewart was the last guy we dealt with and he was also very professional and easy to work with. All three guys combined made the experience as it should be. The whole process took about 2 hours and was exhausting, but it's huge investment and everyone was patient with my firm husband and me. I still have complaints about the store as a whole. If you read my previous post, you will know that a car didn't start up when we were looking at it because they like to play music. The music was SO LOUD I could hardly hear Dexter at times. I enjoy music just as much as another person, but at times it was annoying. The pavement really needs to be redone. After rain, the divits and lot gets full of water and at times it was difficult to get around. I was in flip flops. When Dexter, my husband, and I went to talk numbers, a salesman named Teddy started yelling at me while entering the building, "are you Rachel?" "is your name Rachel?" I am almost certain that they knew who I was through my Yelp post, and they were talking about me. While on earth would he say that while laughing hysterically? It made me feel very uncomfortable in an already tense and hostile environment. I was about ready to walk out. In Dexter's office, being the observant person I am, he had a bottle of hot sauce called "The Hottest F***in' Sauce," I wasn't offended by this, but I could see others such as an older woman being highly offended. If you come here, be firm, know what you want, and I think they can make it happen. Be picky about your salesmen and don't take any crap! With a little bit more professionalism on the used car lot side, I would see these guys getting a better rating. Keep it up! read more

Very happy. Super happy! I was in and out in about 2 hours with my new lease. Now to be fair, I did go in well armed with the current specials, what I wanted and what I was willing to negotiate on. James was my sales person and he was very courtesy and efficient. Good experience all the way around. I will most likely lease from them again when this one is over. read more
