During the COVID crisis, they are still open and taking in animals, but are limiting people to their vehicles and calling in. So they are maximizing safety of their customers and associates, while still being a resource to our community. Our most challenging, and not routine, visit was when our larger pup was having severe rear leg pain. His back left leg could not be touched, and a dog that almost never cries out in discomfort was screaming in pain. This isn't an issue with most dogs, as one can easily pick them up and move them. Tonk, a 172 pound Caucasian Ovcharka with a 700+ pound bite force, is not so easy to do this with. When we called, they made sure to squeeze us in for a visit (emergency reaction without an emergency cost!), and after evaluating at the car, they brought out a gurney, and were especially careful in helping to move him over.

My cat was extremely anxious and panting so we left without him receiving his exam or booster shots. What really got me was the notice on the wall that if you, the customer, were 10 minutes late, they would cancel your appointment. I love this vet. My cat has had a growth on her side for a few months. Dr. Nancy Irvine is wonderful. She went over my cat's vet and health history with me very thoroughly before taking a blood sample and some skin scrapings for testing. She talked to me like I'm an intelligent adult and shared with me her line of thinking every step of the way. She answered my emails in a timely manner and always felt like she was presenting me with every option available. The diagnostic tests were kind of expensive as well as treatments and further testing, but my cat is my baby and I'd do anything to help her feel better. The facility is nice and clean with a big reception area and exam rooms. All of the staff I encountered are very nice and helpful. They even called me the day after my cat's growth removal to make sure that she was responding well to the medications she was given. I very much recommend them.
