Mapleview has been our primary care center for our animals for several years. They have always been polite, accommodating, and have loved our pets the way we do. During the COVID crisis, they are still open and taking in animals, but are limiting people to their vehicles and calling in. So they are maximizing safety of their customers and associates, while still being a resource to our community.
Our most challenging, and not routine, visit was when our larger pup was having severe rear leg pain. His back left leg could not be touched, and a dog that almost never cries out in discomfort was screaming in pain. This isn't an issue with most dogs, as one can easily pick them up and move them. Tonk, a 172 pound Caucasian Ovcharka with a 700+ pound bite force, is not so easy to do this with. When we called, they made sure to squeeze us in for a visit (emergency reaction without an emergency cost!), and after evaluating at the car, they brought out a gurney, and were especially careful in helping to move him over. read more
