We have had 2…read morestudents graduate with honors, both of whom were able to enter secular higher education experiences with little adjustment to the rigor, schedule, or social difficulties often faced by high school students moving forward. The University Model School approach is different... and requires a substantial commitment on the parents (co-teachers) in partnership with the school - but for our family, it has been worth the sacrifice. This is not a perfect school, but it is a good school and the faculty and staff love the students very much. Overall, we are pleased with the level of education (life and academics) DCA has provided for our kids.

For weeks they told me they were working on it. I was only able to register 3 days before the beginning of the semester started. Needless to say, I was not able to register for the classes I needed.

Made reservations for the intro to pottery class and made planters. When we first arrived…read moreeverything was laid out neatly and ready for us along with name tags where to sit. The staff were very friendly and helpful making sure that everyone was being helped. Before we started they gave us all a full run down of how to make the clay pots and what signs to look out for. The group we went with all had a great time and we all made some really nice planters, i look forward to attending more class for pottery but they also offer so much more from painting, sketching, stain glass, and more. I wish the pottery class had a whee spinning option or perhaps more intermediate/advanced classes that would allow us more options but overall it was a great experience.
