If you want a quite evening inside don't get a high top table near the bar. Wait for a table on the other side or go outside. Everyone likes to stand around drinking and waiting for their table. Overall the food tastes great, the drinks were good and the place is a nice place to eat.

For starters, the calamari was perfectly crispy and fresh. Sauce ok, but the calamari was good all by itself. I highly recommend the butterflied snapper with steamed veggies. Delicious! The veggie pasta plate was huge and the pasta cooked to perfection. The shrimp scampi pasta was sooo good. The linguini was perfectly al dente and the shrimp big and plump and yummy. Oh! And let's not forget the mile high key lime pie. Even if you don't care for key lime pie you will absolutely love this one. It's more like a key lime ice cream but better. Servers were fantastic despite the busyness of the place they never neglected to check on us. Great place. Highly recommend.

The Clam chowder was VERY good. It was full of clams and really hit the spot. My wife ordered the Lobster Bisque. There was literally no lobster to be found in that soup. Maybe they scooped it from the top who knows. She said it tasted ok but it was a bit disappointing. I ordered the Tuna Poke appetizer and found the tuna of high quality, but overall it was a bit disappointing. As I have been on a quest to find the best Tuna Poke, this was not it. We went to Saunders Landing specifically because we were looking for somewhere dog-friendly, and…read moreyes, they absolutely are. The prices were cheap, and our waitress was incredibly nice. Honestly, she's the reason this gets two stars. Unfortunately, that's about where the positives ended for us. The food selection was extremely limited--the entire menu was basically one page, and after looking it over, there really wasn't anything we felt was worth ordering. The beer selection was just as disappointing. What's frustrating is that this place could easily be a 5-star local spot. It's dog-friendly, affordable, and we had genuinely friendly service. But you still need to give people a reason to stay, eat, and have a few beers. Expand the food menu, improve the beer selection, and Saunders Landing could be a place we'd come back to regularly. Right now, unfortunately, it's a 2-star experience saved by a really nice waitress.

We've been 4 times, all dining in except today we got the Pastrami Sandwich to go to see what the…read morehype was all about since they've been promoting since NYC Subs recently opened a few doors down with a claim to have New York Style pastrami. We tried to go here 1st but unfortunately they are closed on Sundays This is one of those, should have asked for the price first moments. But it's just a sandwich right, so we didn't. Well when they brought our to go order and we realized it the sandwich was $22.00 was certainly a bit surprised. And they just assumed we would pay with a card; which we didn't do tacked on a 3% service fee, ok. We still were hopeful that it would still be worth it but when we got home we were not impressed by the amount of pastrami at all. The FLAVOR was very good but scores low on the value category. You would pay the same price at the legendary Katz Deli in NYC, BUT the difference is Katz literally loads nearly a pound of pastrami on each sandwich. But the major complaint is the service. The wait staff are a bit impatient and always have this I haven't had a cigarette in an hour so can you hurry up expression. As well a pushy. Totally get up selling as I got a Degree in Hotel Restaurant Management, but it's done in a far less polished manner. But the food flavor has always been excellent, just a bit pricey, even in this higher inflation time.

Ambiance: Beachfront restaurant (well, sort of beachfront as…read morea Beach in this area is closed off for a major rebuilding process) it's your typical surfer, beachcomber, swimmer type restaurant that you'll find in most oceanfront areas. Weatherford wood walls, outside tables under an awning. Inside tables are also available, although, why anyone would choose an inside table when you have a front row seat to the ocean is beyond me. Interestingly,, they have a few swing tables that you can rock back-and-forth while you eat. Not sure how many people will choose those "moving'" tables but, they're an interesting idea nonetheless. Service: I was provided with my choice of table. (I chose the swinging tables (I just had to try The experience of swinging while eating - which was actually pretty pleasant).I was seated immediately upon my arrival. My server whose name was Cynthia whose name tag said Helga (don't ask) served me quickly and with a smile. She came by several times to check on my needs but was never an overpowering presence. Couldn't ask for anything more with a server. Be warned, (which my server by the way did warn me about.), They charge an automatic 18% gratuity on the bill. Not a problem in my case as a service was excellent. The food: I ordered the mushroom and brie omelette. It came with a side of potatoes and I requested a biscuit. The was your typical omelette the plus being the tomatoes were super fresh but could've had more brie. If potatoes were combined with peppers and onions and we're nice and crispy of friends just the way they should be). Unfortunately they were out of biscuits (even though they have a biscuits and gravy dish). How you run out of SKU Ott's on a Saturday morning is beyond me. My tea was your standard black tea (they did not have steamed milk) served with honey. Interestingly, they didn't have a decent size cup so I was provided with 2 cups and two teabags. The bottom line: As with all my reviews, my (Customer so what) would I return? This restaurant is not in my top 10 but, if the beach was reopened and I wanted an oceanfront dining experience this could be a pretty good place to visit. The service was excellent. The food pretty good and the atmosphere great.

Upstairs which looked the best was "full" and on rainy day and wet. So we went inside which had no atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon and was very cold due to A/C. Good friendly service and apparently excellent clam chowder and fish dip from very fishy menu. My fried chicken was large and bathed in buffalo sauce. Fresh hot fries and fair cocktails and beers. The inside had ice cream bar and well stocked bar bar. Really not a place to go except for the location and reasonable food.

Normally, once we cross the bridge, we just head straight down the road toward the beach and find somewhere to park from there. This place is a little closer to the bridge, so it's not somewhere I would normally walk to or randomly stop at. They do have their own parking lot, which is convenient. We were a little confused about where the entrance was at first. We ended up going around the back, where the boats were passing by, walking past a little tiki hut, and then heading up the stairs. Once we got upstairs, it was a fairly small space with a decent-sized bar. It definitely gave me more of a local hangout vibe than a touristy spot, which I actually liked. Our waitress was super nice, and we had a great little corner spot with some really nice views. The menu had a pretty good selection, but we were just looking for a small appetizer to share. We decided on the 10 wings, but couldn't decide which sauce to get. Thankfully, our waitress told us we could split them, so we did half Thai chili and half buffalo. She said they would toss each half in its own sauce, which sounded perfect. Unfortunately, when the wings came out, I could barely tell which ones were supposed to be Thai chili and which were buffalo. It honestly looked like they had run out of sauce and just used whatever tiny amount was left in the container. I have NEVER received wings with so little sauce before! Usually, when you get sauced wings, you can actually see the sauce coating them and maybe even a little bit of it dripping off. These were basically dry with a light glaze of sauce. We both had a side of ranch with our wings, but it just felt like it was overpowering the little sauce that was covered with the wings. I could've said something, but my nephew didn't want to make a big deal about it, so we just ate them. To be fair, the wings themselves were good, but why serve wings with the absolute bare minimum of sauce? Next time, I'd definitely ask for EXTRA sauce and probably get some on the side. I prefer my wings well coated--I want more than a tablespoon of sauce for 10 wings! Overall, I liked the atmosphere, our waitress was great, and the location had some really nice views. The wings just needed WAY more sauce!

We arrived right at sunset, and the view alone was worth the trip--golden skies, boats drifting by, and a relaxed coastal atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. Everything came out fresh and well-prepared. Drinks were cold and refreshing, perfect for enjoying while watching the sunset over the water. What really adds to the experience is the live entertainment. On weekends, they have bands playing that bring that laid-back, Florida-chilled atmosphere to life without overwhelming the vibe. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which made the whole experience even better. This is more than just a place to eat--it's a full waterfront dining experience.
