2017 Ford Explorer with 800 miles on it..... = Brand new for $20K under sticker price!!!!!…read more Wow, Schicker Ford and Richard Witkowski has got to be the best car dealership I've ever worked with! My credit wasn't perfect, and I didn't have a lot of capital to put down as a down payment, but Richard Witkowski made it happen...we were upside down, about $5000 on our previous car (purchased a year ago) that we bought from Richard Witkowski -- I have bought 6 from him to date and he ALWAYS takes care of me and my family. He is the best and most honest car salesman I have ever encountered and as a small business owner I've encountered a bunch. BUT no more, he is my guy from here on out, and my advice to you is make him YOUR GUY today and this day forward! Thanks Schicker Family and thank you Richard Witkowski !!!!

I called the dealership to schedule service for the 2019 F250 I had purchased new from the…read moredealership years ago. I had new tires put on my vehicle and Ford will not reprogram the ODB2 setting for tire circumference. This is Ford policy, they refuse to calibrate Odometers. I understand the policy what I do not understand is why the person I was talking to felt it incumbent on himself to treat me with utter disrespect. I was asked, "why would you want to put out of spec tires on your vehicle?" in response to my question, "why would Ford not want me to have an accurate speed?" Two things: (1) This year and model came with different wheel and tire size options so the statement that my tires are "out of spec" is an assumption. (2) It's my truck and I did it because I wanted to. Why do Ford dealers in the Sullivan area lift new trucks, put aggressive tire and wheel packages on them and sell them new - they are Ford, I'm not Ford. People who talk to me this way lose my business. I am no longer a Schicker customer and I know my next heavy duty truck (which I'm actually shopping for right now) is NOT going to be a Ford. Recommendation to the dealer - treat your customers as if you want them to come back to your dealership.

I pulled over looked at it from front to back and made a mental note to swing by later to check it out. After I'd left my place of business later in the evening I was fortunate enough to see an employee (mechanic) on the lot. This guy was very professional and helpful to me explaining what he knew about the car. Now it's Sunday and I know they were closed but I was happy to at least get a lead. The mechanic told me the owner would be in during the week and to try back. So I tried three times on Monday, twice on Tuesday and today I was able to finally get with the car lots owner. He was already having a conversation with another gentleman so I waited for him to wrap it up. When he saw me standing around he didn't even bother to ask if he could help me, I literally had to break into the conversation to let him know why I was there. No handshake, no introduction of himself and no welcome at all. I asked him what could he tell me about the Grand Prix and he shared what he knew. Then he explained that he's actually selling the car for a buddy of his. He proceeds to call his buddy and tell him that someone is interested in the car. He then gives me the phone number of his friend and I called immediately only to get sent to voicemail right away where I wasn't able to leave a message because it was full. The sad part is that I came with an adequate amount of cash looking to buy TODAY and I got no help at all. As a businessman myself I'm going to do what it takes to make a sale, gain a new and possibly returning customer and get a great review out of it. After that experience, I'm so glad I didn't buy anything from this place. Save your money and shop somewhere that you're valued as a customer and will be treated with respect. Though the customers may come in different shapes, sizes and colors, ALL money is green.
