This will be the last time I use Halpins for flooring, although the end result was good, it wasn't…read moreworth the amount of stress dealing with them. The Installation people were what made this experience horrible. I had to constantly call them to try and schedule (which took weeks, I had to call the customer service rep multiple times to get them to help only for it eventually lead to my request being handed to the owner to finally get it scheduled), once I finally got it scheduled they cancelled on me multiple times due to other projects taking longer than expected. I never got a call back to reschedule and AGAIN had to leave multiple voice messages to get them to finish what they started, finally someone from installation showed up only to as me "Whats wrong with it?", Me: "Theres no trim on it..." Installer: "oh... I think they sent me to the wrong house, yeah I dont have the stuff for this..." SO. FRIKKING. FRUSTRATING. They apologized of course, but I am done with them. Halpin's was great up until you deal with the Installation part, and they do a great job when they do finally show up, but the amount of stress just wasn't worth it when I can easily go somewhere else for just as good results.

He provided a very fair price and said it would take about a week before they could install as they create the cultured marble at the shop. The color he recommended worked beautifully with the walls and marble countertops we already had. As stated installers arrived on day promised and within about 5-5.5 hours they had tub surrounds completely finished. I'm so pleased with the look, price, promptness and professionalism!

Cons: 1) $500 minimum for a job 2) They used caulk that didn't match. I've got white seals on a tan shower. 3) $250 extra beyond the minimum for a total of $750. Materials for my job were about 10 feet of 2x4 wood (basic building studs) and some caulk. 2 men and about 3 hours of labor max each. This doesn't add up to $750. Advice: negotiate the price before work starts. Make sure the caulk colors to use are understood beforehand. Everything started out fine. But the inexplicable $250 upcharge and the request to make the check out to a person instead of the LLC soured it instantly.
