We weren't impressed. We came to buy peaches and they were outside on pallets and covered with flies. They sell Fire Mountain jams and jellies which also brought us here. They are great. Not thrilled about the peach soft serve. read more

This place has that small farm store feel. They don't sell a ton of things but it was all local and their produce all looked super fresh. I think they were one of the only places on the main strip selling peach seconds. The prices seemed on par with everyone else. I came here because I read a lot of reviews for their homemade peach ice cream. I got a twist with vanilla and it was delicious! It wasn't bursting with peach flavor but it also didn't have that fake peach flavor which I don't enjoy. read more

Peach ice cream was on the Palisade bucket list, leading us straight to McLean Farms before we even checked into our accommodations! McLean Farms has some awesome items -- love that they offer peaches with some imperfections at a discount. The peach ice cream was just okay (peach flavor didn't really come through), but would come back again to buy peaches, honey, salsa, etc. The staff was incredibly friendly! read more

Stopped in just to try the ice cream. All 3 of us got the small twist ( peach & vanilla) cone and it was awesome. The perfect amount of peach flavor mixed with vanilla tasted like the peach version of an orange creamsicle. Also cone was very large for it being the small. I'm scared of what the large would look like! Would definitely stop by again. read more

Soft serve (vanilla, peach, or swirl) sure hit the spot on a hot day. Go for the small cone. We got one small and one medium and there was virtually no difference in amount of ice cream on each cone but there was a difference in price. read more

So lovely!!! Originally came here for the peaches, but from reading the reviews we weren't leaving here without the peach ice cream!! Family owned and folks were as sweet as can be!! What's not to love about this place? They sell locally grown produce. Today they had peaches, tomatoes, corn, beans. They also have locally made jam and jelly as well as fantastic soft-serve ice cream: vanilla, peach, or both in a twist. Super tasty and they have a few tables and chairs outside to enjoy the ice cream in the shade. Always a great Sunday stop for ice cream and local fruits and veggies. read more

We also order ice cream in the way out and a milk shake. 1st we got a peanut chocolate milk shake that looked more like chocolate milk. Then they got the order wrong it had milk instead of almond milk. Asked for a refund and she said she redo it. I asked kindly to make it more thick. It did not come out anymore thick. She added too much liquid. Looked like the new hire wasn't properly trained in ratio content. Then they forgot to get our bear claw ice cream. We saw a tall lad that was not working and just overseeing the other staff struggle. So sad. As far as the young lady giving out peaches outside in the stand. She looked more like she was ready for the gym than being at work. I can tell you it was offensive to see her in tight leggings. I sure wife's don't appreciate their husbands have free eye candy at a moments turn. We will not be stopping here again. So sad because I would talk about the old little stand from back in the day to everyone and how wonderful it was to go after driving from Denver on the 70. It was a nice treat. Not anymore.

For starters, you are surrounded by beautiful views of the Grand Mesa. It's a charming store with an abundance of products. You can easily drop a small fortune if you weren't careful. We bought a whole lot of fresh peaches, cherries and jams. The peaches and cherries were consumed right away, and damn they were mighty tasty treats. Nothing better than freshly harvested fruits. The peaches steal the show, but I implore you not to skip out on the cherries. They are just as fantastic! There are a good amount of orchards and farms to choose from when out in Palisade. Clark is a great family owned one to support.

Jason Harris works at Dan's towing and he contacted the ladies of this place and they donated firewood and fresh peaches on October 10, 2019. The firewood and fresh peaches went to a family of a Vietnam veteran, a recently widowed lady and several other families. Some received just peaches, a few received firewood, a couple received both. Thank YOU, Leslie, Carey & Debbie . Update: we went back for more, 10-26-19, bought some more peaches as the season progresses to a close. We're already planning a run for cherries in June 2020. They are constantly refreshing the shelves, making sure customers are finding what they need, and keeping their beautiful farmhouse-vibe in this produce stand authentic. I never feel rushed, and they have an AC and a walk in cooler in case you get too hot. The perfect spot to cool off and get some fresh Palisade sunshine to take home. The Bloody Mary was really good too, spicy enough to give you that kick, and salty as it should be. And the faces of everyone seeing it come out, plus the pictures we were able to take of it were just the best. I can check that off my list of "To Dos" now and recommend everyone giving it a try. As we thought we got full with that, but looking at other people's food, everything looked great. One done, we went inside and looked at some merch, plus got to buy some of their distillery gin, and take some pictures with their beautiful peach blossoms. The wines I picked were on cards which had descriptions of each one on the back. Each wine I tried was great - the gal in the smaller building out front and near the sitting area was very knowledgeable and friendly. There is ample seating and even reserved tables available if you're with a larger group. For a Saturday, it wasn't terribly busy and finding a spot to sit wasn't difficult. At the end, you tell the gal which wine was your favorite and they give you a wine glass charm that matches the one you picked, so cute and thoughtful! I also bought a bottle of my favorite and they offered to chill it before I left. Both the tasting and bottle were reasonably priced. There's also a trolley that stops by and takes people to different wineries - a perfect way to wine hop and not worry about transportation. Definitely recommend if you find yourself in Palisade.

The vintner was also our bartender he said. He told us alot about the history of him and the place. We learned alot about the produce he had growing as well. I certainly see that his pride as a wine maker is reflected in the kind of winery he runs: no extravagance, no big/expensive sign. Some great business is not always on the main/busy street; hence the expression, "hidden gem". Ken's winery is a hidden gem of Colorado's wine country is an understatement. His wines are not cheap like other wineries' wines so expect pay $5 to $10 more. But once you have tasted the qualities of his wines after a flight, you WILL be convinced to buy a bottle or two.

The bright pink color draws your eye and the funny signage and yummy merchandise inside keeps your attention. The lady behind the counter was a personality and we had a good conversation. Alas I didn't get her name as other customers came in. I picked up a jar of Vermont maple syrup having heard of how good it is. Some peaches of course, salsa and pickled baby corn. Chose some hot sauces and honey butter. They put everything in a box for me which was great as I couldn't carry the items home. Very convenient. Spent way too much but hopefully I'll enjoy them when I get home. I would visit again to pick up unique food gifts for family and friends. Dirt parking lot in front of fruit stand.

So much for knowing who you work for and what they stand for. I feel the upgrade has a nice concept yet it is lacking customer serivce and more staff. I could tell the staff was overworked with the amount of traffic flow. We came when there was a power outage. For the luck of grace it came back on shortly after we checked out. We also order ice cream in the way out and a milk shake. 1st we got a peanut chocolate milk shake that looked more like chocolate milk. Then they got the order wrong it had milk instead of almond milk. Asked for a refund and she said she redo it. I asked kindly to make it more thick. It did not come out anymore thick. She added too much liquid. Looked like the new hire wasn't properly trained in ratio content. Then they forgot to get our bear claw ice cream. We saw a tall lad that was not working and just overseeing the other staff struggle. So sad. As far as the young lady giving out peaches outside in the stand. She looked more like she was ready for the gym than being at work. I can tell you it was offensive to see her in tight leggings. I sure wife's don't appreciate their husbands have free eye candy at a moments turn. We will not be stopping here again. So sad because I would talk about the old little stand from back in the day to everyone and how wonderful it was to go after driving from Denver on the 70. It was a nice treat. Not anymore.

This is a great peach stand to get bulk peaches in Palisade. Their prices are way better than the…read morevendors on the main drag right when you get into town. I got a 20 lb box for $45 which is a great price. The peaches were juicy and flavorful. The guys working are very friendly and helpful. It's not a true store or really somewhere to hang out but rather a fruit stand to grab your fruit right from the source. Highly recommend checking this out.
