I literally had no complaints! There's something about the signage there, and parking is never an issue. I like the layout as well. It's a good station to park at if you don't want to be right on the tail end of the line that tends to be busier.

Over the last year, there have been some challenges getting to the station due to the purple line construction. Not sure when that'll be completed but lately it hasn't been too bad! I'm so glad they recently brought back the yellow line. If you miss a green line train, a yellow one comes right after! There's still occasional delays but no overall complaints. The employees at this station are super helpful. I'm late to the game but I finally downloaded the smart trip app and use it to enter the station. No need for a physical card.

However, this place is a mess with the never ending, ongoing construction of the Purple Line. I do not know how many times I have missed my connection because you have to travel their rat maze to get to and from the station. I mean, I have literally just missed my bus each and every time I have gotten off of the train. Pros for this place is that they have a parking garage. Bike parking is available as well. Connection with buses, Metro and PG, and with MARC. I really do enjoy this station, if only they can finish at least a bit of the construction to allow for better flow of foot traffic. The parking buildings that use smartcard does get very crowded after about 8:30am. It is located directly off of 50, so it's quite accessible, though if you're a bit away (like me being 20 minutes away) it would probably be better to go to another station as the commute to the station will often times double by 8. New Carrolton is also a train station, so it is very much connected to other terminals for speedier transportation. It is the train station right before Union Station, so a quick 20 minute train ride to DC. There usually is a slight delay though in terms of its schedule. The station is pretty clean comparatively to other metro stations, and it's a very functional station in all regards.

I had to walk the "walkway bridge" to get to the station. The elevator was out of service. There was only 1 escalator that went up. Just like with all of the new build that surrounds this place, and hides how absolute disgusting it is! Seats to wait at, are old. Floors are dirty. Bathroom was ATROCIOUS! There was about 1 foot left on the toilet paper roll on the stall that I used.
