The special education program there is outstanding the teachers the support staff everyone is awesome they greet my son every day they communicate with me well which I did not receive in previous schools or school districts. The social atmosphere isn't great either, with a lot of students being judgmental and insincere, which makes it hard to feel comfortable. Overall, it feels like the school is more focused on enforcing rules, grades, and achievements than actually supporting students or creating a healthy learning environment. If someone has the option, going somewhere else would probably be a better experience.

Masks are required on campus, so don't forget to grab one before you get out of your car. Several soccer fields, but we were at the one in the northwest corner of the campus. There are a few trees sprinkled around the sports areas and they were big enough to catch some shade! Yay! There's a nice, big oak right in the middle of the various soccer fields. Nice. On the west edge of the campus there were about 20 redwoods that provided shade, as well. The restrooms by the library were open on a Saturday while teams were playing. There were a few bleachers, but not facing the soccer field, so parents and grandparents will want to bring chairs and perhaps umbrellas.

spent both 7th and 8th grade years here back in '94 and these were probably the two most memorable…read moreyears I had during my school years. it might have been a little ghetto, but besides a bunch of fights, nothing crazy happened when I was there. the teachers were pretty cool & met a lot of cool people but the things I remember most were cambodian new years when everyone carries around powder and shaving cream and throws it at everyone else, playing "suicide" (same rules as butts up, but the penalty was getting jumped until you touch the wall), the ongoing tradition right before graduation where it was the 7th graders vs the 8th graders fighting each other, break dancing in the hall ways... things got more serious in high school and got moved out of town so lost touch with everyone except a couple friends found online.
