Today was my first time visiting this little gem of a store, and what a delightful surprise it was! The moment you walk in, you're greeted by the most wonderful aroma. Everywhere you look, there are unique treasures--trinkets, cards, gifts, cookware, kitchenware, flowers, plants... you name it, they have it. I'm so glad I finally stepped inside after passing by many times. I picked out a sweet plant as a gift for my granddaughter's teacher, and the lady at the counter went above and beyond. She added a delicate butterfly to the plant, boxed it up beautifully with tissue, and even included a complimentary card and card holder. She truly didn't have to do any of that, but she did it all with such a warm smile and genuine care. This was my first visit, but definitely not my last. Now I know exactly where to go for flowers and one-of-a-kind gifts. I highly recommend stopping in--even if just to browse. I'm sure you'll be as pleasantly surprised as I was... and you'll probably end up buying something special! read more

This is the second time I am here. Now this is a floral shop first, however, over the years it has turned into a gift shop and mercantile as well. The selection of gift for all occasions here is great! I has here to buy some flowers and may be a card, but I saw such a great selection I ended up buy more items instead. The staff was so friendly and very knowledgeable about the inventory. They really helped me to make my final decision. I recommend this place highly! read more

I would leave zero stars if I could. There are two of the most miserable and snarky women working behind the counter by whom I have ever had the displeasure of being served. After they were snippy with me about sanitizing my hands (which I had done, and had no problem repeating in their view) I observed them to be completely dismissive and rude to another couple who had just walked in. As we chatted about the complete lack of customer service a third party overheard us and came closer, sharing that they too had found the sales people to be complete bitches. These ladies do not deserve the one star rating but unfortunately there is no option for giving negative stars. We went in for a sympathy arrangement after losing someone important to us, the two ladies were beyond rude and offered no customer service or sympathy. In these times when some are struggling to stay in business I would rather pay double to a store that actually values their customer. These ladies should get out of the retail business and stay away from the people in general. They have zero social skills. We took our business to Pammets flowers on charlotte, and they were a pleasure to deal with. I will never step foot in Mcknights again. read more

I read the previous reviews before I wrote this as I hesitate to leave bad reviews. I like to make allowances for people who may be having a bad day but after reading the other reviews I realized that the two women who were behind the counter were just very nasty, arrogant people. When I asked to see what fresh flowers were available they told me the display case was at the back of the store. It is not at all visible from the front of the store but they couldn't be bothered actually taking me to it. When I returned to the counter with my questions they were hesitant to stop their own conversation to help. I asked them about the delivery policies that are posted on their website. They told me they didn't know about the policies and that they were wrong. Although we were the only 2 customers in the store they were very obviously annoyed that we came in. We left and thankfully found another flower shop where we were treated wonderfully. I hope more people will take their business to stores that deserve it. read more

I am in complete disgust with the customer service at this store. It is actually unbelievable to me how I was spoke to and greeted as I walked in the front door yesterday. I brought my 13 year old sister out to get her a pair of crocs for her birthday and we decided to support a local business instead of ordering online due to these hard times. I was greeted extremely rudely and told to leave as they were closing in 2 minutes. I was asked if there was something we "needed" and I kindly responded that we were looking for crocs. The woman responded with "no we are closing". I will not return to this store after this awful experience due to the way I was confronted and treated with complete disrespect. This experience is still sticking in my mind to this moment so I feel that I needed to share this experience. The worst part is that I was greeted in the parking lot after exiting the store by two women who were also kicked out of the store and told me how awful of an experience they had due to the way they were treated. I am in disbelief that I was trying to do a nice deed for a local business and was turned away so quickly when the clock was 1:55pm and they closed at 2:00. I will not be returning. read more
