    Totally awesome!

We stopped in during our short trip in Port Hope and this store just made our day. So many things to see....from very impressive re-creation of the Iron Throne to the ginormous T-Rex, Optimus prime and bumblebee, this place was by far the coolest store we've been to in recent years. We ended up buying a few trinkets (bug necklace, duck horn, drum and a xylophone) and the prices were still pretty reasonable (around $70 for all items). It was a nice place to pick up souvenirs for our road trip and we'll return without hesitation when we're back in the area.

I love this place! I accidentally found this place on my way home from Ste Anne's spa last year. I purposely went to it prior to the spa this time. Very cool giant metal robots on the property attract you in. Then there are so many items from giant pottery, metal artwork to live edge wood furniture. Inside you will find clothing, jewellery, bags, yoga mat bags, decor, scrolls, statues, Knick knacks, etc. It is just like the little stores you find when travelling in other countries...that sell the crafts and handiwork of the locals. These guys just get shipments from various countries and sell it all here! Such a fun place to browse and find cool items. Plus the staff are super friendly

Very unique store! It felt as if I were walking through a museum! The prices were a bit out of my range but I enjoyed exploring all the unique items made from a variety of materials such as wooden carvings and old car parts. During Covid, they limit the number of people in at one time so be prepared to wait a little (it wasn't too long though) or you can call ahead and make an appointment to bypass the line.

    Winter sales...

Lots of interesting gift ideas here. This is the place of all things Imported. It's also an excellent source for slabs of raw edge wood or bar decor... take a look at their website for a full idea. Bring the camera and the kids! But dress warmly if it's winter months, there's a lot to see and it's a warehouse style atmosphere.

Wow this is a must! if you are visiting Port Hope. Although the things are expensive but its worth the visit to see the awesome things they have built. As soon as you enter you are greeted by Transformer team as all the Robots are all around the shop. The best being Optimus Prime. Then they have a huge Dinosaur sitting in the parking lot. As you go in you discover Buddha, Alien, angry Monkey and a lot of Indians. There were many decorative pieces and furniture from small to big. The cost figure would vary depending of item. The staff was very friendly and there was no restrictions on Photos as its also a kind of tourist attraction and that's the driving force of many smaller items being sold as you would like to take a souvenir with you.

I love and hate this place at the same time. It has the most unique items ever and I can pretty much guarantee that there is something to interest everyone. I hate it because I basically want to buy out the majority of the store and it just reminds me of how much money I do not have. Seriously... when in Port Hope... GO TO PRIMITIVE DESIGNS!!!

I've lived in Port Hope for 5 years. In all that time, I've dismissed and avoided the women's…read moreclothing stores because I was sure - SURE - that no store would have my size and, if they did, no selection and no real interest in serving me. That assumption ended last Saturday. Frankly, it was completely trashed! From my first, hesitantly made, phone call to G Facey Clothing to check the availability for larger sizes, to the change room, TJ and Stephanie made me feel welcome, important, valued, and... dare I say it... "normal". (I can't be sure but I think TJ even adjusted the store temperature so I didn't become a sweaty mess trying on several - SEVERAL! - of the options she suggested.) In larger chain stores, too often I was ignored, dismissed, or left to struggle to find options (and sweat through size and style changes) alone. NOT at G Facey. I was shopping for 2 outfits for Christmas parties. After my phone call, Stephanie put aside some options and when I dropped by TJ found SEVERAL more pieces that looked great. Even more surprising, TJ was happy - HAPPY! - to order in other items she thought I should consider. They also have shoes - I bought a super snappy pair to complete one outfit... and jewelry. I felt so good that, in effort to escape "leggings hell", I even tried on jeans (an unheard of occurrence) for more casual events! The personal service, attention to detail, and commitment to finding outfits for me (without breaking the bank) was beyond anything I've experienced in awhile. I left looking great and feeling good for the first time in a long time. REGARDLESS of your size, I encourage you to check G Facey out! TJ and Stephanie know their stuff! I can't recommend G Facey highly enough. A caution: shop fast! I loved everything and look forward to becoming a regular customer.
