Fabulous stay at the McKenzie River Round house! Sharon accommodated our last minute request and arranged for us to arrive well after dark. We had a third person, so the provided a futon mattress for us to use. We had the top room that has the view and the deck. The room was huge, nicely furnished and stocked with snacks, water and toiletries. The breakfast was seriously amazing. Totally, beyond expectations. We had crustless quiche, fresh strawberries, potatoes, bacon, fresh juice, fresh coffee, Im probably forgetting something else. This was a great location for us, on our way back from Bend, but wanted to still go to the hot springs nearby. Price was reasonable for what we were getting too. We really enjoyed chatting with Sharon and her husband and hearing about the history of the Round House. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend the McKenzie River Round House to anyone needing a little R&R away from home. read more

We stayed at the round house when we attended the Chain Saw and arts festival. It was one of the most relaxing times we have had at a B&B. The view of the river was amazing as was the breakfast. We had a great time visiting with Sharon our host. Unique home. read more

What a place to end our coastal trip through Oregon! We stayed upstairs and the mile-long river view alone was worth every penny. My husband just couldn't leave the balcony on our first night. Sharon and Bill were excellent hosts, the room was all windows, spotless and stocked with wonderful snacks and beverages. Sharon's breakfast was beautifully prepared and served, making us feel quite special! Sharon and Bill gladly shared the history of the house, its unique architecture, and its original furnishings. They were happy to help us with sightseeing tips when we decided not to take a fishing trip. With an early morning flight, she even packed our breakfast to go and sent us home with a carton of fresh blueberries picked the night before.
