It's really because I don't particularly like English food. But I looved the baguettes here. The bread was sweet and the ingredients were fresh. I always got something with cucumbers in it and I looked forward to every bite and every cucumber. It's also in a great location - right on the water by a nice patch of grass where you can have a nice picnic when it's not raining. I really hope the Baguette Barge is still there, even though I probably won't ever go back to Stratford-Upon-Avon. :(

The selection of drinks could be better, the only fruit juice available was from concentrate, the orange juice I ordered was not fresh and just tasted really bitter and unpleasant. I ordered the gluten-free breakfast, I was impressed when my food arrived to notice it was served with gluten-free toast and sausage, and more importantly, it wasn't seeded bread! I did find it odd how they served a singular slice of toast on a separate plate though. I wasn't too pleased with the quality of my food. I'd argue the baristas here are even more skilled than those at the Monmouth at the Borough Market in London. I've been several times and can't seem to get enough. It'll take a few minutes for your drink, but it's absolutely worth the wait. As if that weren't enough, they actually make some pretty delicious sandwiches as well. I had a free-range chicken with lemon mayo that was something special, and my better half had an equally tasty egg and watercress. It seems that Box Brownie can do no wrong!
