There were a lot of staff on hand to help us all get ready, and they were so sweet! The decor in the salon is gorgeous, it's very white and clean. They have large windows letting in a lot of natural light, which is wonderful. It doesn't have that dark, cavelike atmosphere that some small salons with no windows have. The salon has a clean and spacious bathroom, a keurig fully stocked with good coffee and fixings, and the stylists were so helpful. They have Kevin Murphy and Moroccan Oil products to offer (love Moroccan oil's argan oil)! They have glo-minerals makeup, which I'm not a fan of, but the ladies that were doing makeup for the bridesmaids and bride were using a large range of professional makeup brands (urban decay, MAC, etc.) Kate did my hair and she did a wonderful job! She did a great job making my fine, straight hair look beautiful and voluminous in the up do that I chose. I showed her a Pinterest picture and she did a great job recreating what I wanted. Renee did a great job with my makeup, I love that she started by asking how I did my makeup every day. When I asked her for extra coverage for my rosacea she did an awesome job making sure that my makeup was on lockdown. The ladies that were doing hair were so friendly and efficient, finishing ahead of schedule in most cases, and doing an excellent job! Renee did such a great job of making the bride feel special, and kept the energy in the room high (even through a three hour beauty session)! I would highly recommend this salon for wedding parties!

I told her my stylist was going to be working there so MJ set me up as a new client. And she helped get me my appointment with Meghan. She did ask for my smartphone number so I could get appointment reminders. I really like this feature as I LIVE AND DIE by my calendar and appointments! MJ was friendly and helpful in showing me the facility and explaining they would be holding special events for customers in the future. And I've seen Facebook posts for Moxie for such events. Everyone I met was nice to me then and each time I've gone in for a haircut. My wife has started using Moxie, and having Meghan do her hair too. Check them out!

However, both the manicure and pedicure that my mom had done were absolutely not well done. The shellac manicure peeled off in a day and the pedicure polish had smudged and basically fell off the nails within an hour of leaving... and my mom wore flip flops the entire day to ensure they dried properly. Besides the terrible execution of the services, the response from the owner Jessica has been ridiculous. She told my mom to go out and buy her own shellac and refunded $35 out of the $85 spent (not including tip). Her excuse was that they offered to redo the services... but when your nail tech puts cuticle oil on BEFORE shellac... that's a sure sign to run out the door. We should have. I absolutely recommend you do not waste your time at this gaudy little hometown spa.

My first massage ever was great, so I book another one for a week later. I work nights and the…read morenight before my appointment was a very rough night at work ( I drive semi truck) I didn't get home tell 10:00 AM so I called them to see about getting my appointment reschedule. I explained to them what happened and that I needed to get sleep so could I please reschedule it for another day. I was told sure but they would keep the 40% deposit for the appointment and that I would have to pay another 40% deposit for the reschedule appointment. All I was asking for is to get some understanding and respect. That a truck driver who works nights should get rest so him and the people around him will be safe and I was told that is just way it is and that's their policy. So I will never be returning to them. I will add that the massage therapist was great.
