I would not recommend these people to anyone looking for insurance. While I never had a policy with them, I turned to them as the business that wrote the policy for a window contractor that did terrible work at my house. To make a long story short, they failed to seal two windows and I had water cascading into my house like a waterfall. I finally got McHenry Insurance from the contractor as his insurance agent. He told me to call them. I did. I did not get a response. I called a couple days later. I received no response. I have significant water damage in my home. There is water in my walls, insulation and traveled from the second floor to the basement. I have water damage on my wood work and my walls are bubbled. Still no response. I called a third time. Still these people failed to call me back to make a bad situation better. I waited three weeks and I finally had to file a complaint with the Illinois Department of Insurance before I was "graced" with a telephone call. Is it too much to ask for an insurance company to do what they are paid to do? I think not. I will never recommend this business or others that operate like it! read more
