It is my go-to spot for dinner. There are a few TVs, a spot where a live band plays, and booths, tables, and a bar (where I usually sit). The fish and chips are my favorite! The fries are great and the fish is big, crispy, and tasty! I'm not a big bee drinker but they have mostly imported beers. Yeungling is is the only domestic draft. The food portions are adequate; i.e. you'll be satisfied but not full. There lies the invitation for their desserts! Trust me, GET THE STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING! I recommend this place. Parking might be limited because of its popularity.

This place is like a "Cheer" with an edge! It was Taco Tuesday and Music Bingo night! Tacos are reasonably priced, and Bingo is like community Bingo. The DJ hands out cards with songs and the artists in the squares. When the DJ plays a song, you mark that square if you have that song and artist (some have the same artist but with different songs). Once you have the right squares covered, BINGO! I didn't win but I helped identify a few songs for the winners. Oh by the way, get the Ceasars salad, it's a winner! Thank you to the staff, Owner's wife, regulars and DJ for making me feel at home!

There were TVs so we could watch sports. I had their Apple CIder Spritz on the happy hour menu and it was so good! The Apple cider takes the bite off the Aperol. My hubby had their mule. We had the chicken sliders which were very good, but a little too crispy. It is a lager portion than we expected as it is three slider with two chicken fingers on each. We would come back and get more food and drinks if we lived here.

Service is pretty quick and even though it was pretty busy, we never had to hunt down our server. The sweet potato fries were different than the last time I had them and didn't come with the sauce compared to last time. Made them a little dry. The poke ball was fresh and had good flavor. The shrimp didn't add very much to it. I wish they were blackened or seasoned more. Overall good experience!

Tldr: If your thinking of going here, Do It! You may/may not like it depending on your taste in…read moreambience but the foods good, and people are are nice. Alright, if you cant tell from the reviews this place is somewhat polarizing... I went here for the first time recently and felt mixed on the experience. On one hand I loved the lowkey, mysterious, hyperlocal, dive bar atmosphere. On the other hand it does have a bit of a genuine dirty feel that can be off putting. The bathroom in particular is really quite bad, the bar is a bit musty and just feels like it would benefit greatly from a good wipe down. Additionally, I can see how the laid back bartenders and overly comfortable regulars could be a bit intimidating to folks who go in expecting a 'normal' restaurant experience. Servers here will not wait on you hand and foot nor will they at most any other local bar/tap, its just how it is. When you go to a place like this you should understand your visiting someone elses world for a bit, it's not McDonalds or a fancy Italian spot. If local dive culture is foriegn to you or you don't like it you will likely not like this spot. All that being said I found the somewhat aloof bartender and local regulars to be quite charming, reasonably attentive, and all very kind. I ordered some drinks and food, the food was suprisingly good for what you might expect when you arrive, and the drink was fine (just ordered a bottled beer or two). I feel like this place deserves more than a 3 star rating, but honestly I have a hard time saying that my experience was anything special or above being "okay". If I were a local I could see being a regular here, most out-of-towners probably wont like it - that being said If your bored on a random weeknight and don't want to cook at home, stop by and give Dead Presidents a shot, it may surprise you. Ownership, I'd recommend a solid deep cleaning, otherwise I have no real notes.
