If you loathe the dentist, go to Dr. Cook. She takes a lot of time to walk you step-by-step through what is happening and what it will feel like. You'll always know what is coming. The only drawback is that she is not in any of the major dental insurance networks, which means you'll have to pay up front and wait for a reimbursement check. That's peanuts to me because Dr. Cook and her staff do exceptional work. I can't say enough about this superb small town dentist.
