Just moved in not too long ago! The amenities are amazing like the 2 story gym, sauna and game areas plus it's so walkable. Anything having to do with your unit is taken care of with great customer service. Had a maintenance guy named Tyler come in and fix my water heater and dryer rather quickly. I have lived this community for 6+ months now, and it has not met my expectations for a luxury living experience. It seems like the property management is only concerned with expanding their property with new phases instead of enhancing and upkeeping the existing phases. While the maintenance staff is fantastic, their team is not large enough to cover the entire property. We had to wait almost 2 weeks for someone to get to fixing our dryer, and instead of escalating our request, the front desk sent us to a vacant unit to do our laundry. I also have other resident friends here that have had the same experience, having to wait WEEKS for major appliances to be fixed and no accommodation whatsoever from the property. That aside, the biggest problem you will run into here is dog poop absolutely EVERYWHERE - on the sidewalks, in the grass, etc. Despite multiple emails to property staff and even having to have your dog swiped for DNA upon moving in, they do absolutely nothing about it, and we continue to see fresh piles of dog poop all over the property. We cannot even walk our dog on the property without us or our dog stepping in dog poop. It is also extremely poorly lit on the backside by the pond, so it's like walking in a literal minefield of dog poop. Ultimately, I would never recommend to pay as much as they are charging for such a poor living experience. read more

Poor management & terrible quality of construction. Especially at this price point. Nothing to do with luxury as advertised. Pro: concierge who recently joined is lovely Cons: everything else 1) You can send in complaints but nothing to very little will be done about 2) You can hear your upstairs neighbor all day long from their walking to dogs. It sounds like they are pounding their feet around and is unbearable. 3) The property upkeep is awful. Dog waste all over (see other reviews) and pics from one area recently, landscaping is ill managed, litter and overall filth in the garages, musty smells throughout 4) Neighbors enjoy smoking marijuana and management could care less about taking action 5) Phase 2 lobby smells like sewer 6) We have a disabled person that requires ADA compliance. No doors are compliant and have found this poor person trapped outside many times until someone can open the door. This place is a dump!! It is far from 'luxury'. It is poorly built. Things are always falling apart. Incidents of serious Water damage in a building that is 1yr old. My next door neighbors have dogs who pee in the hallways and stairwell on a daily basis!! They never clean after their dogs. I make maintenance requests and still, nothing is done about it. The dog even took a shit in the hallway, and the entire hallways smell like a giant shit bomb. I call maintenance to come turn on the air or at least come sanitize. It is insanely unsanitary conditions. I am told this not an 'emergency'. It is sad to see this place declining so fast! We used to have a Concierge who actually cared about the residents. She quit! Packages are lost or missing regularly. I called the leasing office to report this and I am told "oh yeah one of our leasing agents is on their way to organize". Leasing agents are completely worthless and the attitudes are unbelievable!! I go to check hours later, the package room still looks like a pile of mess! Trainers who dont live here are allowed to train non-residents in the gym. Residents are so fed up with management for allowing the use of amenities to non-residents. The regional manager, the property manager, and the 'leasing' manager will flat out lie to your face when you report non residents using the amenities that are strictly for paying tenants!! The response you get it, oh we'll look into it. They don't do shit! The management is absolutely awful. They do not care after you've signed your lease. I have been dealing with excessive noise for the last 4 months, terrible violation of lease terms. People in violation will receive notices to vacate if the issue continues, but management does not do anything beyond the written notice. You are expected to live with terrible neighbors without any resolve. The security of the building is compromised. We have had car break-in and intruders, Franklin PD has been here several times. An officer from Franklin PD pulled me aside during one of these incidents mentioned the building is not secured and they were all able to come in easily. I mentioned this to the management, they could careless. On several occasions i have sent photographs of non residents using our fitness facilities and entertainment spaces, the management again brush it off by saying it is impossible to track who is a resident vs a non resident. Most of the residents here have similar complaints about noise. The building construction is extremely poor. You can hear dogs barking non-stop on both sides of my unit, neighbor talking, walking, and dropping heavy weights in my case. The management will do absolutely nothing about it. It seems the management is incentivised to ignore legitimate complaints. As a tenant, I have the right to peaceful enjoyment of my unit, especially during quiet hours. This violation has been going on for 4 months. Despite my extreme patience, nothing has been done about it. They expect me to put up with it. I finally got in touch with the regional manager in hopes of resolving this issue once in for all. I located the source of the issue, invited her to stop by and experience the agony I deal with daily. She left it at, 'oh I believe it, I'll touch base with you to see if it continues,' haven't heard from her since! Additionally, the dog next door is excessively barking for hours daily. I called to ask if anything can be done about it, again they treat these situations as if it's a pain in their ass! They care very little about your peace and enjoyment of the space. read more

Apts. Have MARIJUANA Smoking Tenants - Management lets it go. With the huge influx of pot smokers relocating to Franklin from legal-use states like California and Illinois, many are bringing their addictive weed habit with them to McEwen Northside Apts. and snubbing their nose at TN law as well as the non-smoking restrictions spelled out in their lease. The second-hand smoke air in the apartments around the pot smokers is both stinky and extremely unhealthy. It causes breathing problems, allergies, headaches, and according to some neighbors has led to pneumonia. The bigger issue is that McEwen Northside management won't do anything about the marijuana smoking residents. They let it slide. They don't enforce the non-smoking rules in the lease. Consequently, many residents have been moving out and many more will follow. So if you think you are moving into a "non-smoking" apartment at McEwen Northside, think again. Consider that the marijuana situation there could make your life unbearable and force you to move much sooner than you expect. read more

I have had the most amazing experience working with Haley, McKenna and team. I moved from out of state and they have been amazing to work with now that I am moved in and settling. Haley scheduled a walk through of this site while under construction when I visited for one day and has answered all of my questions along the way via phone call, text or email. The amenities are fantastic, the apartments are gorgeous, the location is perfect with lots of shops around the community (doesn't hurt that I am a mile from work.) The staff shows that they really care about the happiness of their tenants. Love love love my new home!!! Thanks for everything Haley, McKenna and team!! read more

Apartment pricey for the very limited space of a 2 bedroom apartment. You must also really love dogs. They are everywhere - barking loudly, dog vomit in the elevator, etc. Appears that there is no weight limit or quantity limit. One person has 3 large german shepherds in our building. We love animals, but this place smells like a kennel in many of the hallways. Had we known, we would never have moved in here at $3800/month. read more

This on premise review of McEwen and my rating is specifically reflected and directed towards Nelson and his grounds crew. I have lived here for almost two years..and while there are "many" things I dislike about the corporation + property, I'm incredibly grateful for Nelson, Hank, and Ryan..and wanted to express publicly. Nelson is friendly, professional, and extremely competent...and he and the guys are the main reason why I've continued to live here. In regards to any problems incurred that required assistance, they have always been expedient and reliable. Thanks gents keep up the great work. read more

The staff here are horrific. Our upstairs neighbor is incredibly loud - moves furniture in the middle of the night (I'm talking 1:12 am, 3:09 am) - and they refuse to do anything. They say "she's just living her daily life." They have repeatedly gaslit me (which is psychological abuse), ignored our requests for help, and been rude. I honestly hate it here. I'm exhausted. I've slept well two nights in seven weeks. TWO. On top of that, they're sick of hearing from us, so they referred us to the "CARES" team, which is a huge joke, because the guy I talked to repeatedly talked over me, interrupted me, and told me I was "too emotional to have a conversation right now." I cannot describe how distressed, exhausted, and angry I am. DO NOT live here. It's a horrible place to live, the staff is nice until you sign a lease, and then they don't give a f about you. Oh, and the pool was green and closed for over a week. The hot tub has been green for a week. And they never clean the carpet in the hallways. Overpriced, crappy staff, terrible care for residents. read more

This community and apartment was beautiful upon its open in 2020. The staff was friendly and attentive. They addressed resident concerns swiftly and truly cared about having personal relationships with those living in the complex. Fast forward to current, the original staff has left and been replaced with staff that penny pinches every single resident left and right for any reason they can find to nickel and dime. Building positive relationships with residents is not prioritized and it reflects heavily in the "community" that the complex has turned out to be. Staff is rude and often quickly puts off resident complaints. We had an issue with smokers below us smoking inside their apartment and that cigarette smell wafting up into our closet/laundry room, and had to approach them four times about it. It seems absolutely unnecessary when we sign a contract for a smoke-free environment. On top of that, we started receiving charges left and right for random things (trash, pet waste, packages) with no "warning" ever even given that we were doing something wrong. And while we understand the need to address those things, it just seems wrong holding some to the policy and not others (the smokers who they claim they've "called" to stop, that continue on, and have no repercussions for their actions) So sad that what could be a gorgeous apartment complex and community has truly become the money hog that it is, with a staff that could truly care less one way or the other. read more

Horrible management! After you sign your lease, don't expect them to care about you anymore. In our case, our upstairs neighbor is unreasonably loud during all hours of the night. We asked them to enforce quiet hours so we could actually get a decent night's sleep. They have repeatedly refused to do their jobs - wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

The fitness space in this community is epic. Huge cardio and weight room plus a separate conditioning room with a crossfit rig! McKenna told me about their monthly resident events and they have a district discounts where residents get perks at local businesses. Never experienced anything like it! Highly recommend McEwen. read more
