They were friendly, personable, and professional. After waiting for more than an hour to see Doctor Kuang, he on the other hand was the COMPLETE OPPOSITE. He made zero eye contact upon entering the room, was short and showed no interest or concern. He even asked "what brings you here today"? My Sclera (white part of the eye) is completely red and swollen. He prescribed a medication which directly conflicts with my current medication which sharply increases my risk of severe stomach ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, kidney damage, and cardiovascular events. I called the office more than six times over 4 weeks to ask Dr. Kuang to call me to discuss my condition and his recommendation for treatment and he NEVER returned my calls. He also never returned the call of another ophthalmologist even after I gave the office staff permission to discuss my condition. It's generally a professional courtesy to return calls of patients and colleagues. I contacted the Corporate Office to discuss my concern and did not receive a follow-up call. If there was an option for less than one star this location would get it from me. Based upon my experiences, I would adamantly not recommend this facility.

In atypical fashion, my wait was much too long. Two people who arrived 15-30 minutes after me were taken to the back before me (even though I arrived before my appointment time). I was told I was waiting for a room to be available so I'm not sure why my wait was so long. Once in the back, the appointment ran fairly smoothly. The doctor was able to explain diagnose my issue quickly and send in an eye drop prescription for me that cleared it up. It worked well enough that I was able to cancel my follow-up appt a week later. The office is always clean and nicely organized. The staff is usually pleasant.

This gesture and remark were racially insensitive and have no place in patient care, as comments and gestures of this nature affect whether patients feel safe seeking care. I have Federal Davis Vision which I learned after the fact they don't take. By the way, I have been going there w/o issue for several years. Then they wouldn't bill Tricare for some reason, but if they checked, they would have seen that my wife at the time of service, was not on Medicare. I called Tricare and said they should have been billed but weren't, I would have to say this was all due to incompetent billing. Then they were yelling at me, said I didn't know what I was talking about. So that's why I verified everything. My advice, the front office is rude, not capable of taking criticism displaying a know it all attitude. I took my business elsewhere. And I'm not even going to get into the care that was provided last time which was largely indifferent. Btw, I have the same insurances,0n RR Medicare, which according to this office is different. I called them and was assured it was Medicare (as I pay the same Part C A and B premium), but I was rightfully told that the decision to bill is up to the practice. Communication was horrible, the final person who I spoke with stated that I couldn't even be seen because they have new doctors and the new doctors do not see patients that were from the previous doctors if its a medical concern with your eye. Red flags came up during the consult and I should have pulled the plug. I finally make it to the surgery center in Morrow, Ga and it was a total nasty dump. The rest rooms were torn apart literally and it stunk to high heaven. It was 7:30 in the morning and the waiting room was small and packed with 50 or more people already. There were check in kiosks in the foyer that had lines of people and people at the desk with nothing to do. I asked them to check me in at the desk. A nice young lady was about to help me and the guy next to her rudely told me to go back to the kiosks and checkin. Do these dipshyts understand that my vision is not good and I'm there for help? Apparently not. Long story short, I found the facility to be a dump. The staff was very unprofessional and not attentive. The equipment was breaking down. The surgery prep room was about 8 feet by 10 feet. There were 5 other people in there with 8 staff and desks. I thought about getting off the gurney and walking out. I should have. I caught a severe respiratory infection that took 10 weeks to overcome. Once healed, it was a success, however, this was a scarry shit show. It's a little house of horrors! The respiratory issue costs me several trips to my regular doctor, and some expensive dental work. I was eating cough drops for weeks. It damaged a tooth and filling and even cracked a root in another tooth. Now I must have a tooth extracted and a bridge. Dr Kim apparently is a good surgeon, however, he has severe personality issues and ego issues. I dont' trust him at all. I refused to go back for the 2nd surgery and I requested another surgeon and clinic. The second time is with Dr Patel with Thomas eye clinic. He comes highly recommended and the clinic is very clean and the staff is very professional. A completely different experience. Lesson learned from this: do your research on the service provider before letting them cut you or treat you in any way.
