I ordered two fish sandwiches for 5$. It is lent. Came out timely. The decor of the place is pretty and classy: not your average cheap looking McDonalds. Parking is is good, even though confusing specially when there's snow. Location is close to a major highway and to the classy fancy snobby area. I have tried ordering a large water with my order from this McDonald's three or four times and they literally refuse to give me one. I have asked if I can pay for a large coke and just have them put water in it and they won't even do that. They will only give extra small waters. It makes no sense. I went to this store at 10pm on 6/10/17 and the drive thru had 12 cars waiting, so I decided to go inside. There were about 15 orders being waited for by people inside the restaurant. It took a long time to get my food. BUT.....having been in the restaurant industry years ago, I am very observant as to what is going on at the restaurant when I am there. The only time I complain is when I see inefficiency, people standing around or it taking a long time to get food when the restaurant is dead. The employees in the restaurant cannot control getting slammed by customers all at once. However, they can control their work ethic and attitude under fire. While I stood and waited for 15 minutes to get my food, I noticed that everyone was working as hard as they could. There was no wasted motion, no standing around and everyone was working in concert to do the best job they could at getting the food out. It is easy to show your frustration in the situation that they were in, but none of them did. Everyone kept their composure and had a good attitude, despite being overwhelmed. I went to this establishment wanting a shamrock shake and nuggets. CARLY the worker did not know how to count change and ripped me off 21 cents. I already lost a 10 in my wallet somehow, but she made my day worse. If i could give her a 0 I WOULD. She did not greet me well, she did not say thank you, she was fairly rude to me and my friends who did nothing wrong and just wanted some mcdonald's. Every time i come to this establishment i get terrible service, and the fries are cooked different every time i come here. I do think she was sort of new, but if she was working the register she should know basic math. do not recommend coming to this mcdonald's, take the extra gas to drive to another with better service. read more

I am not one to write reviews when I have poor service because hey we're human and it happens, but this is something beyond extra. The franchise owner is completely petty and shrewd, perhaps he's the manager, truthfully I don't know and I don't care. We moved to Wayzata over the summer and on our way home to Chicago I popped in to grab a few packets of hot mustard for my pregnant cousin since they discontinued it back home and it's her pregnacy craving, gross I know, but I love my family. I was completely honest in my request and paid the quarter a piece for the additional hot mustard on top of my food order for my family. Since then I've popped back in maybe once every other month to purchase 4 packets each time I head home and each time he acts like we're putting him out, how he's always there is beyond me, he truly lives and breaths for the Golden Arches. We have taken to nick naming him the Gate Keeper. Today my husband went in, bought 4, the guy smiled at him and said I put a 5th in there for free for you. When my husband got home I went to put the bag in my luggage and noticed it was all gooey, the petty little man actually tossed a completely open container of hot mustard in the bag. Well played old man, well played. The extra star is for your extra level of petty. i was just here not even 2 hours ago to get breakfast for my husband and i after my dentist appt.. when i pulled up, i saw quite a few cars in the drive thru line.. i backed up and parked instead.. when i walked inside the store, i noticed a line of people waiting to order as well so i walked out and decided that i'll use the drive thru instead.. better to wait in the car than to stand around is what i thought after.. it took all but 2-3 minutes before i pulled up and had placed my order.. after that, it just took forever.. when i got to the first window, the cashier asked if i had placed this exact order which i replied yes.. that was quick and simple.. but as soon as i got to the second window, the guy working that window asked if i had placed this order which i had said yes.. it took a moment before i received my two orange juice.. then i had to wait for my food.. when he finally handed me the bag, he repeated my order back to me.. so you had the 2-breakfast burritos meal and the sausage egg mcmuffin meal, right? i said yes and took the bag.. i asked him if there were any picante sauce in the bag which he replied yes.. i trusted that he gave me the correct order since he repeated it to me.. i drove off and was already on the road when i decided to check the bag ONLY because it felt a little heavier than usual.. when i looked in my bag, i saw an extra sausage egg mcmuffin.. i decided to wait until i got home to really look inside the bag.. when i got home, everything was doubled minus the hash browns.. i feel bad because i didn't need the extra food for my husband and i but it wasn't my fault especially when the order was repeated 3 times to me.. total time at the drive thru was 20 minutes.. i did have plenty of time to order food, go home, eat breakfast and go to work but because of the delay at mcd's, i had to rush eating at home before leaving to work.. i have been going to this mcdonalds for 15 years.. they always seem to do a pretty good job but they're always busy.. read more

Ok in all honesty I don't normally complain too much about getting an order wrong, but honestly there is a limit. We should really raise the federal minimum wage to like $13 an hour. An example of why: I ordered a ice cream cone and iced tea at the Wayzata McDonald's easy enough ok. The lady asks if I ordered a small fry and something else which I thought was weird because I didn't think anyone was behind me. Anyways, they first gave me the ice cream cone and an orange drink and then I was like ok I ordered an iced tea so they gave me the drink and I was like isn't a orange drink more expensive than ice tea so the woman was like ok and gave me some quarters back because a large iced tea is cheaper than a large orange drink thing or whatever it was and was cheaper. I drove away and found out the new drink was a sweet tea. I drove back after I was almost on 394 and explained I ordered an iced tea and after I got the new drink and was about to turn out is when I noticed it was coffee. Then I came back and they gave me iced tea with no ice. Then they got it right even though there wasn't much ice in it at all oh well. Finally, at the end, I was like, shouldn't I get a free coupon for a burger or something? So she gave me a half filled thing of coldish fries and a free small McCafe coupon and I didn't even want the fries and neither had I asked for them and the funny thing is they didn't even offer me a free coupon after 5 or 6 mistakes I forget how many there were there were a lot on a very simple order maybe I'll think of more later but I had to ask for the coupon! Lol, it took like 30 minutes when it should have taken like 3. Bah!
