I did a Mobile order for pick up. The food came out within a few minutes, and the young guy said he would bring out the two strawberry pies as soon as they were done. I waited and waited as my food got cold and my shake and ice cream melted. I finally went in and they said they forgot and they were sorry but didn't have any pies. There was no manager there. I left. I tried to call for a refund but no answer of-course. The restaurant always has problems and no customer service to fix small problems. Probably need new management asap. I know this will probably go on def ears, but that's what happened. My food cold, melted and missing. read more

She is unaware of the sign. I drive around take pic of sign then patk and go in. I have to loudly ask for someone yo come to register as no one is there. Different woman comes. I ask to see managet. Been in the drive thru nearly 40 minutes AFTER PAYING ! This is becoming a habit at this location. Don't go.

Just took my boys to the vet for heart worm test. They don't go outside very often, just to do their business. I don't worry much too much about in the colder months. They were really good boys, well as good as they could be I guess. Scout cried a lot; but he got through it. He is a big sissy. Afterwords I decided to run through the Watkinsville McDonald's drive-through and get a plain double cheeseburger for the boys. I used to buy two cheeseburgers for them but I learned that one double cheeseburgers is a dollar cheaper. Works for me. I got a quarter pounder combo for myself with a large Coke. I haven't eaten McDonald's in a long time. I don't eat fast food very often. It's really not healthy. But I was surprised this time; the burger was really, really good. It was hot and fresh and the bun was as soft as any I'd ever seen. The fries were hot, fresh and crispy and the Coke Zero was delicious. I've always liked McDonald's fountain drinks. They have a reputation online for being really good. You can google that. I think that reputation is well deserved. I got a free apple pie with the combo and I hope it's as good as I remember. Like I said, I don't eat at McDonald's very often, but I'm glad I went this time. P.S. The boys really liked their cheeseburger. They really are sweet little chihuahuas. read more

Pulled into the drive-thru tonight at 9:40 and there were two cars before me getting to the speaker to order. Got to the speaker at 9:52, to the pay window around 9:56, and got my food at 9:04! When I got to the pick-up window, no one came to acknowledge that I was there, to say we're running behind, or anything. When the guy handed me my food, he said, "We have a lot of orders and your food just came off the grill." I told him I'd been in line almost 25 minutes and he (very rudely) said, "It's been 12 minutes." I explained that it had been 24 minutes since pulling in. He said, "Whatever." and shut the window! Some of the older workers have been in the worst moods when I've come by specifically at night to order soft drinks and/or teas for my parents and I. I've asked multiple times on different accounts for unsweet tea and asked nicely and always got back sweet instead. I don't know what the deal is but I really don't appreciate it. This place is a total hit and miss. You never get the same service twice. They had a long time manger there and she ran the place very well. When the new guy took over for her after she retired it has steadily declined. I went there tonight and ordered a cheeseburger happy meal, two cheeseburger meal and two mcdoubles. When i got home i had one mcdouble, an extra fry, and the wrong drink. To top it off my daughters happy meal comes with apple wedges and they were out of date. If visiting this location i would definitely not visit at night. Of course the morning time is the best. The GM is there and his ace employees. I'm definitely not loving it tonight! read more

To start off, let me say, the only reason I gave them a star, is because it won't let me give them negative stars. Never have I ever waited 25 minutes! Just to get one Oreo McFlurry. Do you know how long it took them to make it? I watched the lady make it in 25 seconds, yet it took 25 minutes to reach my hands. On top of that, the lady at the counter was embarrassingly rude. I kind old man next to me needed a refill on his coffee, and he waited for 10 minutes there, then he finally asked the lady for a refill since she was just standing there not bothering to help him. She stood right in front of the coffee machine, and when the man asked for a refill, she said "sorry, I ain't aloud to leave the counter". I get it. This is cheap fast food. Still, I can't imagine presenting the meal I got to anyone for any price. I ordered two double cheeseburgers w/bacon to go. I waited for about 5 minutes or so (the counter employee was a trainee, and the whole store was running in a state of chaos at about 3 on a Saturday afternoon, despite few customers). When I looked in my bag (which I'll always do immediately at every location from now on), I did technically have two double cheeseburgers w/bacon, and two wrappers. However, the burgers were not really IN the wrappers, but more NEAR them. Half of the paper was crumpled, and what was left was sort of wrapped around half each sandwich. The burgers themselves seemed to be doused with maybe 2 to 3 times the normal amount of pickles, and then sat on. They weren't even stacked properly. It looked like all the ingredients were just sort of dropped together from a great height. I just don't get how anyone can think that this was acceptable. I worked at a McDonald's for two years back in HS, and I would have been ashamed to say that this was my work, and I hope I would have been immediately sent home. read more

I waited 10 minutes while the cashier played around with the shake machine creating a "special" shake for a fellow employee who intentionally kept changing his mind to frustrate the cashier. They acted as though no-one else was at the front counter. They also ignored basic customer service like "thank you" . This was the worst experience ever, waited for 20 min in the drive-thur line for our meal. They had the worst customer services EVER heard of. At the drive thru-window- "Hi McDonald's", not no "Hi, welcome to McDonald" or "Good morning" or any friendly welcome whatsoever. Next, I go to the 1st window to pay and she my total, not no sorry for the wait or nothing. So, by the time I get to the second window and grab my food and got my lukewarm nasty coffee, I was so upset b/c I felt like they DON'T care about their customers. It was the MOST unpleasant experience EVER!!! I asked for the manager. I did use profanity about how F-ing ridiculous the wait was but not towards anyone specific, it was clearly out of frustration. The first manager was explaining to me how short staff that were and how they had call outs and did empathize with my frustrations with their services. It was almost coming to a close, i was just very upset. However, a second manager came to the window and said "I can escort you off the premises " in a very rude manner as if I committed a crime or some sort, when I am just an upset/irritated customer that is looking for answers to their incompetence services. Consistently inconsistent. Always forgets condiments. The girl in the 2nd drive through window LIED to me to my face tonight when I asked if the bbq sauce for my son's McNuggets was in the bag. I always ask because they forget 90% of the time. She looked and said "yes". We get home 10 minutes later and... No bbq sauce. They don't answer the phone. They are awful. The guy at the drive thru hung out the window yelling at friends coming through the parking lot. He also randomly asked me if I drag raced? It's almost worth driving the extra few miles to go to the MacDonald's on Epps Bridge. The Watkinsville MacDonald's is very poorly managed. The drink machine is often out of flavors or ice or both. Same with the ketchup dispenser. Again, poorly managed. No wonder there is such a high turnover of staff there. Shame on the owners.
