However, the. lady working told us that they don't give the discount here even though on the door it says that they do and I have gotten the discount at this location before. Along with that, I was charged for ranch dressing and buffalo sauce which I have never heard of at a McDonalds before and is flat out ridiculous.. So prepare to get charged for sauce if you want sauce at this McDonalds. The workers were unpleasant, stingy, lazy, and flat out liars. If I am to be candid, I would rather spend an evening in the 9th circle of hell with Lucifer himself than go through a drive through experience at this establishment again. In order to explain the setting, I must start from the beginning. In one vehicle, there was myself and my fiancé. In another vehicle was mine own flesh and blood brother. We saw the Golden Arches high in the sky, seeming to serve as a heavenly beacon to quench our thirst. This, however, would prove to be a farce. Both vehicles entered the drive through at the same time, with each car in a separate drive through lane. At this time, an employee came through the speaker and asked for our order, which was a simple one; a Diet Coke and a strawberry milkshake. The server took our order per usual and things seemed peaceful. It would not end that way, for my brother still had not received an employee's attention, and was still stagnant in his lane. 15 minutes later, as we still waited, my brother calls me to say that they have still not taken his order. When we eventually arrived at the window, at had already been 20 minutes, and my brother pulled out of the drive through to tell us he had given up. We asked the employee if it was ok to add another Diet Coke to the order, which is what my brother had originally planned on ordering. To this request, the employee silently nodded his head. We had attempted to tell him that one of the drive through lanes was not being attending to, but he quickly closed the window before we had a chance. We then moved to the next window to obtain our orders, but our problems had only just begun. For this next portion, I will use direct quotes from the experience. Enjoy! Employee #1: You the one with the Strawberry milkshake? Fiancé: Yes Employee #1: Well our milkshake machine is out of heavy cream. Do you want something else or do you want a refund? (As a side note, my fiancé had just undergone oral surgery, making a milkshake the only consumable food option on the menu) Fiancé: We'll take a refund (3 minutes pass by) Employee #2: The refund is taking a while so we're gonna have you go to spot 4 and we'll bring it out to you Fiancé: alright We then moved to spot 4 to wait on our order. Keep in mind that at this point, we had waited 15 total minutes in this drive through for two simple diet cokes and a strawberry milkshake. Around 5 more minutes pass by when Employee #3 walks out of the McDonald's. She comes to our car and hands us a refund receipt for the milkshake and cash, but a noticeably absent portion of the order. Let us continue the experience. Employee #3: Heres your refund. Have a nice day. Fiancé: Ok but where are our diet cokes? Employee #3: What are you talking about? I gave you a refund. Fiancé: The refund is for the milkshake, not for the diet cokes Employee #3: All I have is your refund She left our car and entered the McDonald's again without attempting to help us with our issue. This is where my fiancé had hit here breaking point. She left the car and entered the restaurant to get the diet cokes we had ordered 25 minutes ago. This is the conclusion to our story Fiancé: Heres the receipt to our order. We really didn't need the attitude. We just want our order The employee went to grab two cups and handed them to my fiancé, who had to fill the drinks herself. Employee #3: I didn't need your attitude either. I walked outside to me nice and I'm off the clock, just so you know. Fiancé: Is it really my fault that you aren't on the clock. I don't really care Employee #3: Well I don't care about you! This was the end of our experience. I want to add that this story is not meant to insult the people that work extremely hard at these establishments to provide for their families. My rating is based on the closeness to the Highway and my order being correct. The food tasted different than other locations I've been too, and not in a good way. Foul smells came from the location. This place is a mess. I understand trouble with staffing and all but this is by far the most inefficient McDonalds I have dealt with . Going through the drive thru with 3 people in front of me and waiting to order for 15 minutes and then when finally ordering and then to just sit and not move was insane . I grew tired and left the line drove down the road a quarter mile to Burger King . I ordered my food got my food and when driving back past McDonald's the person who was at the window when I left was still there . The place is slow, to give you an idea it took 20 minutes to get a large coffee, luckily I was on a call and had time to sit back, while waiting in the drive through. This McDonalds also has issues with keeping employees, so they will close the dinning room and just run the drive through if they have less than a couple employees in the store. This McDonalds has been recently remodeled. It actually has a pretty cool vibe -- modern and comfortable. But you don't come to Mickey D's for the seating, you come for the FOOD! This McDonalds looks nice on the outside, but that's where it stops. We stay away from McDs for many reasons (like food-poisoning), but we ended up here for purely convenience and time sake. We walked in and this is the filthiest restaurant we've been in in a long time. The restroom actually had blood on the counter top! The staff were not that busy and they were literally letting people walk over dropped food and trash scattered like a debris field across the lobby. Since the seating area and restrooms were disaster areas we decided the food would be just as bad or worse, and we really didn't want to risk food poisoning again. If I could give this place negative stars I would. Despite the fact that I have waited over 20 minutes two nights in the drive-thru there are more things to mention. The man working the drive-thru *Eric* refused to take my coupon for a buy one get one free situation. This coupon was on my mobile phone, and I had used it many times before with no issue(each week the coupons are updated on the app, you get one coupon per week). I always order the same thing, and never had an issue until tonight. He also was making it difficult for me to reach the window as he said he "couldn't touch my phone". Yet every other time I've ordered anything at this location and others no one had a problem taking it in their hands, or giving me the deal. Then once I arrived at the window to pick up my food I asked the woman serving if there was a straw in my bag. She said yes, but upon driving away from the location I found that was not true....I work in the area and had hoped to stop here every night to get dinner on the way home, but I definitely won't be stoping again.
