First off - they should change the name from Flores Tapas to Flores - burger and taco shack. Based on the "new" menu. It's very sad - because it's neither "fish nor fowl". Is it Mexican street food or a burger joint? It takes forever for the food to come out of a totally confused kitchen and even though there are numbers on the table, they don't know where to bring it. It's the fault of the "21st century"ordering system they are employing. IT is totally "Fakakta"!! Theoretically, the order goes from your phone to the kitchen, where they process it and prepare your food, then the runner brings it to your table. The reality is disappointingly different. You're better off, sitting at the bar; getting blitzed and watching TV. The fast food gets there sooner! You can do that at home and not have to worry about driving home drunk. Sadly, they spent a small fortune on theme glasses, seat back covers that look like Santa's hat, and specialty merchandise. See photos. Some stylized versions of things you know like shredduce, pickled onions and sun dried peppers. But I bet you've never had mozzarella's oozy cousin burrata on an Italian sandwich. Or whatever Garlic knot sauce is. This sandwich looked amazing. Tasted fantastic. The salty, sweet and acidic flavors really sang. The long hoagie roll was very good too. As much as I loved my sandwich, the turkey sandwich I ordered with my wife's tastes in mind may have been even better. It had carved turkey, Brie, Blueberry Chia Jam, apple, something called "rocket", toasted almonds and an unbilled starring roll for arugula (I believe).
