I really like how McDonald's is going upscale. It no longer feels like the ghetto place you go to when you have absolutely nowhere else to go, but more of a destination. Okay, that was a stretch. Parking is ample on the outside, though there's a human walkway that's raised a little too high. If your car is lowered, you will probably ground out. All of the plastic seats are gone, and replaced with wooden / upholstered ones. The location is surprisingly clean. There is now free Wi-Fi. Yay! The tables themselves range in size from 2 to 12 people. Yes, 12 people. You can bring the whole gang here without a problem. I come here a bit more than I would like to admit. Mainly because of the central location. Oh, and it's 24h.

This location was very busy. I was able to use a coupon for a meal during the lunch rush. Fries and burger were fresh. Unfortunately, Coke for some reason was out of order so I settled with orange soda instead as Coke Zero was out of syrup. Tables needed a good cleaning but it was very busy with the flow of customers. I saw one round of a staffer sweeping the floor.

It's one of the nicer McDonald. It went through many remodels throughout many years. At one point they even closed down, but reopened again. It's my neighbourhood joint for ice cream and hamburgers. Today, a runner named Troy made McFlurries. I'm not sure if McDonald follows Foodsafe Practices or even the common sense of 'If I stuck my dirty finger in something, my customer would care'. Troy stuck his thumb in the McFlurry of the guy in front of me. I also had the same McFlurry - so it confused him and I think I got the contaminated one. If you factor in all the things they touch just to make you a ice cream. Yuck! Have a smile with your contaminated treats!

My fish burger I ordered. They forgot my onions. Again.

We happened to get a parking spot right in front of Burger Crush so after a bit of shopping on Granville St., we decided to stop for an afternoon snack at Burger Crush before getting into our car to drive somewhere else. We shared an order of Vegan Crush Fries and Vegan Nuggets between the three of us. Also ordered a Vegan Milkshake and shared that with my daughter. Grandma wasn't so much into the milkshake part of the snack. Vegan Crush Fries were just as good as last time. Grandma commented several times on how tasty they were. That's a big win in my books. Always happy to hear of anything that makes my mom happy! I enjoyed the crispiness of the Vegan nuggets but flavor wise I think they were just OK. The dip is very much needed for these nuggets. On their own, they don't really have much flavor. I recommend breaking them into smaller pieces and then dipping those smaller pieces before eating them as they were piping hot and biting into it as is might burn your tongue. Found that out the hard way! I was pretty impressed with how well the nuggets retained their heat! Loved the Vegan milkshake! We ordered the Vanilla flavored Vegan milkshake and it was soooo good. The menu says that it's made from coconut milk ice cream. I couldn't taste any coconut milk flavor. All I tasted was Vanilla and it was sooooo good! Super impressed with the Vegan milkshake at Burger Crush. They absolutely crushed it with their Vegan milkshake!

I ordered the mushroom smash and upgraded to tater tots, and you get a choice of "flavour" for tater tots - I chose all dressed. The all-dressed flavour did not really come out very much so i just dipped it in the provided ketchup. When it first came out, there was a mixup in my order and it came out with plain fries - they were quick to fix their error and there was a generous portion of tater tots for the $6 upgrade fee. Solid reviews on Yelp had us on the way. What a great little spot! There used to be so many diners of this style, it's a shame so many are no longer there for us to enjoy a simpler time. It's 100% diner right down to the mini juke boxes in each booth to the red and chrome bar stools. Even found an old Kellogg's individual cereal box display like one we had in my parents diner in Ontario, that was very cool! The service was spot on with our two servers working in unison to get waters, tea, orders, delivering food, cleaning up like a well oiled team. They even have old fashioned milk shakes and an Hamilton Beach machine to blend them up. WOW, nostalgia. The food came out quickly and was cooked exactly as we asked, and it was plentiful and a solid breakfast for the price. My potatoes were a little greasy, to me, but everything else was perfect. The bacon, three slices, of good quality and perfectly crispy as ordered. We will most certainly return to The Templeton when downtown again. Our hotel close by, not so much, but this little gem, unquestionably!

After going to a local sporting event and looking for a late night bite to eat, we decided to come give them a try. The interior is quite minimalist, and the menu is simple. My husband wanted to try their bacon cheeseburger while I ordered a classic cheeseburger. We ordered one set of classic french fries and one set of poutine fries. While they were preparing our food, we made our way down the long hallway to the back where the speakeasy was located. We just wanted to peek our heads in, but didn't stay for a drink. The cool thing about Hundy is that the speakeasy will serve their food while apparently also serving up some tasty cocktails. But back to Hundy and the food. The cheeseburger was absolutely delicious and the french fries were cooked to crispy golden perfection. As for the poutine, it was some of the best that we had on our trip. So speakeasy aside, if you're looking for a good burger in Vancouver, I would definitely come check out Hundy.
