I don't know that anyone takes the time to read these McDonald's reviews unless they've had a terrible experience, so this will probably fall on deaf ears (or blind eyes?). I didn't have an issue here, but I'm guessing that's because I used my mobile app to pay and order and then just had to pick up the iced coffee. Though many McDonald's locations have great service and happy employees, most of us just use McD's for convenience, cost, and familiarity. Do yourself a favor and get the app and you can mostly avoid the poor customer service... hopefully. read more

22 times. I went through the drive-thru of this McDonalds 22 times since we moved here last fall. And horribly, our order was made and served to us correctly all of FIVE times. The remaining 18 times the order was incorrect... and no matter whether I called, went back through the drivethru or actually walked into the restaurant, I did not recieve an "I'm sorry" or any other sign of remorse nor a comped anything. Getting food here became a game... would the order be right this time? NOPE. Would I wait in the mobile parking space? Drive back through the drive thru? Or just suck it up? I might be less forgiving if the aforementioned donut stick incident resulted in an apology. I actually walked into the restaurant, receipt in hand. Let them know the donut sticks were missing. I got this strange attitude.. someone with a bit of annoyance grabbed some donut sticks from the fryer location and told another employee "she had to use those donut sticks". The bag was handed to me without a word... NOT A WORD.. no apology, no here ya go, no have a horrible say. Was told they were not open even though it was 15 minutes before close. Asked why they greeted me if they were closed but had not answer. Ordered through Uber eats and waited 30 minutes for them to cancel my order even when I had a driver waiting to pick up my food.

When the customer in front of me left his cup on the counter, the cashier yelled, "hey!!" I thought that was rude. I ordered something from the value bundle menu or whatever. When I got my receipt I found that I was overcharged. I pointed it out to the cashier. She was again rude. No surprise there. But she also blamed me for her mistake. I did ask her to add pickles, but there's no up charge for that and there was no charge on the receipt for the pickles. I don't know why anyone would hire someone who refused to be polite and professional to customers. The food was okay except for some lettuce that must've been really old. I am not keen to giving low score reviews. But, this place needs some SERIOUS IMPROVEMENT:-( First of all it's MESSY. And it's Saturday. No crowds here. I had Oatmeal and Ice Tea. I mix 1/2 & 1/2 Sweet and Unsweet. Works out well. I informed that the Unsweet Tea was very watery. To ck if it was down to the bottom. I shook the container. Could not believe "Someone added ICE to the Container". When I got my Oatmeal it was swimming in liquid and the grains were not cooked. So I asked them to Microwave the heck out of it. This location happens to be your typical McDonalds. It's one of the newer renovations to reflect the whole make cafe theme. Overall I really stopped eating McDonalds and I don't really havent indulged in McDonalds within the past 3 years but today I stopped in and said let me get a soda and tried out the new mini bundt cakes that I have seen advertised. I feel like I paid way too much for a sprite with light ice. At that price I could have just went to the supermarket and brought a two liter bottle. The bundt cakes were actually surprisingly good, a little sweet but overall they were fresh. They were warm and you get two of in the case, a chocolate one and a cinnamon swirl. After all this time I honestly do not miss indulging in McDonalds. I don't miss the long lines, greasy smell or the customer service. I don't really recommend McDonalds as a choice for a meal, but if you need a cup of joe, wifi and bundt cake stop in there. It's a cool location. read more

Just RUDE. I went to Mcdonald's on Kennedy near Westshore and these folks are so rude. Normally I just leave pissed but today I had time. I placed my order about 1:45 P.M. today May 7th. in the drive through. When I get to the window I notice one of the drinks is not full so I jokingly say you guys don't fill the drinks to the top? the young lady says the machine does it and walked a way. Now you can clearly see that one drink was full and the other was not. I just laughed it off and drove off because the line was long. When I got about 2 blocks away something told me to taste that drink and it tasted like seltzer, no Orange flavor at all. I would usually just toss it but as I said I had time today. I turned around and went inside the Mcdonald's to explain that I just came through the drive through and that the soda tasted like seltzer. One young lady said what? Another lady walked up and I explained that I came through the drive through and the soda tasted like seltzer. The look she gave me was like I was bothering her. She said ok well get another drink. Now at this point I was annoyed because I had to come back but I was polite. As she stares at me she said what do you want another cup? I said yes. she said well throw that one in the trash and shoved another cup in my hand. as I turned and walked to the soda machine she said OOH CHILD, THESE PEOPLE!. Now I could have made a big deal out of this because that is not how you treat or talk to a customer. I hope the managers read this. Please teach your employees customer service and manners. This is your typical McDonald's, so there really isn't too much that can be said. This one is open 24 hours and is good for a late night snack. I was coming home from an event held in St. Pete and needed a quick soda. The wait for the drive-thru took longer than usual. But, this is to be expected late on a weekend night. Not a huge fan of this drive-thru. The setup is strange. It is a weird windy drive-thru that you practically have to be Mario Andretti to maneuver your car through the path. They screwed up my order, but somehow I knew that would happen. It was very late and I didn't want deal with the hassle of letting the restaurant know. So, I just decided to deal it with.
