The drive-thru is always manned unlike some other branches where your sat there wondering if its still working! The food is general maccyD's fayre, but it helps that the restaurant doesnt seem as greasy and messy as some others which makes the experience better right from the start. The best thing though is the the staff always seem to put more ice cream in the mcflurry's which is always going to be a winner for me!

Most people in my town are quite the fan of easy to get, fast food. Our town is filled with kebab…read morehouses and takeouts but Mcdonalds is the old crooner to say the least. It is situated conveniently next to a shell garage. There is ample parking space and there is the option of drive-thru if you want to take it home with you. The restaurant itself has many seats and is always kept moderately clean however there are times where it seems the little cleaning person can't keep up during the peak selling time! Staff are rather friendly and some seem to have gone from part time when the shop was built to now full time.. There are limited number of toilets as I have only been in the ladies I imagine the gents are the same - 2 They are rather cramped and usually disgusting but there are only 2 in the whole building. You do get your food on time but make sure you check what you are given as numerous times in the past I have found they have missed out something from my order! If you do opt for the drive-thru be warned as some daft plonker has placed a speed bump right outside the last window so you end up having to balance or park just before it (which if you are small like me with little arms lol you'll find difficult!) It gets worse as the day progresses, during the afternoon you find many van men coming for a bite to eat - making the atmosphere rude and unpleasant as well the car park a nightmare. During the evening the car park is usually strewn with chavs in naffly done up saxos blasting music. The staff I have found in the evening are humerous in a sense yet provide you with poorer quality food and can sometimes be a little slow with service.

This McDonalds can be very hit and miss, on occasions providing the normal service you expect from…read morea McDonald's and on others providing a poor service. I feel as though the drive-through service on the majority of occasions is poor, so always double check before you drive off. They have the new service where you can order it yourself using big screens, but given the size of this McDonald's it seems unnecessary. This restaurant is in a prime location for people attending Tesco and also Smith's toy store as well as pets at home so if you are visiting these at lunchtime then there is a tendency to get your lunch as well.

McDonald's might not be everyone's cup of tea, but having a 24/7 location at Stafford Southbound…read moreMotorway Services (Be advised that the Northbound services are operated by a different company and does not feature a McDonald's) is very useful, meaning they're always open for travellers regardless of the time providing hot food, and coffee, right off the motorway, granted motorway service areas must provide these services at all times, but this is better than a pre-packaged sandwich or a coffee from a machine etc. The prices were not too inflated due to being inside the motorway services, and there was a good amount of seating in the communal seating area. In some ways, it is actually cheaper, as this location does not add a surcharge for lettuce, which most McDonald's seem to do now. (As of October 2023) I was able to use my McDonald's rewards points to spend or earn here. Service was reasonably fast from ordering and the staff were friendly. As far as McDonald's goes, my food was actually pretty good and up to a good standard, I ordered a Medium Quarter Pounder with Cheese Meal (without a bun due to being gluten-free) with an Oasis, and the food was served hot and in good time with my modifications being accurate (Adding lettuce, removing the bun). I also ordered a small fries, due to wanting to redeem some of my McDonald's Monopoly rewards from the ongoing promotion at the time of my visit, which was being heavily advertised. I didn't like the packaging of the food, they appeared to put my burger in the cardboard salad box which squashed it down and made it harder to eat, compared to the traditional white tray which I prefer. The paper cutlery is also awful, but with plastic cutlery now being forbidden under UK law (They did make the change before legally required), it isn't all their fault. The other members of my party ordered via the kiosk and also mentioned some of my compliments on the speed of service. 4* - Very good for a McDonald's, at least you know if you're looking to take a break while travelling on a motorway, to relax on a long trip, or just to pick up a quick bite, this is an option.

The chicken dishes that i have tried have both been delicious, served with very nice seasoned fries, although i'm not sure why they have to be served in a weird paper serviette which just gets in the way.
