McDonalds can be hit or miss, but this one misses more than it hits. The service and food are usually completely off. It's so bad that this one location has had a fight between staff and a customer. The day service is great. Rarely gets an order wrong. Friendly service beyond what McDonald's usually has. The orders are usually quick and right. At night is when the freaks come alive. The staff is rude and even aggressive. One night I tried to change my drink order and the person on the drive through said "make up your damn mind". Then when I added some Mac sauce to my McDouble, he said "I'm gonna come out the window and slap this motherfucker". Yeah, that gained them my first call for a corporate complaint. Avoid this McDonald's. Go to the one a few miles further down 12. They aren't terribly better, but they aren't downright aggressive. read more

I left a 5 star review almost 2 years ago on this McDonalds. at the time it was good. but i had seen the bad reviews and thought i could help boost the rating or whatever. cause this place had crazy karen reviews. but what happened my last visit just pushed me off the edge. not only have I gone through this McDonalds multiple times and been treated very poorly, I have also had missing items, borderline frozen food and been told to pull to side or forward while I was one of three in the line. I understand they have a timer on cars going through. and want to cheat around it a little to make themselves look better. which is fine ig. im a sous at a restaurant. i understand. i don't really care unless you're making me sit and wait for a half an hour! anyway. I went through and ordered a spicy mcchicken and a small fry. simple enough. and the food was at the window. but when I asked for a water cup. ONG! the absolute most disgust on someone's face I have ever seen. followed by a 5 minute delay. a jr cup of water. which was 80% ice. an eye roll and a window slam. A CUP OF WATER! so yea. if you plan on ordering food from starkville Mcdonald's. make sure to go between the time of 8am to about 3. since the morning crew seems to be more happy and thankful you're there. cause a restaurant isn't a restaurant without customers... because they at least make my visits worth the stop. but anytime after i'll just be driving a little bit more down the road to eat somewhere else. as i advice you do also. read more

The Health Dept. should close this place. My wife and I had helped our granddaughter move into her dorm at M.S.U. When heading back home, we stopped by here for a burger and coffee. A hog will not eat at this place. You could smell the burnt grease when opening the door. I went into the men restroom and could not even get to the urinal for piss on the floor and the urinal had not been cleaned since the store opened. Cigarettes butts at the front door. We had to stop in Tuscaloosa for a clean and decent place to eat. I would not eat at this place if the food was free. I come here all the time since I drive for doordash, and the day shift is almost always friendly and quick, but the night shift. I just had a woman I have never met before in my life. Both McDonalds in Starkville,MS are no where near a normal McDonald's experience. Far below, with total inconsistencies in the food preparation of the hamburgers. Try ordering one of the Signature Sandwiches and the same sandwich will turn outr different most every time. The Signature is to be placed a paper casing and served with a Lime. The finished product once in a blue moon comes out right. The restaurant needs badly some diversity in its work staff. Management needs training really bad and these older Ladies have been there ahwile. The O Farrel management group runs horrible operation in Missississppi of the six locations I have visited. McDonald's App will not work in either location and when asking management to help, is like talking to the wall. Internet sketchy at best. The only McDonalds I have ever seen charge 29 cents for a water cup, so the hourly mistakes of the cooking staff must be eating a hole into the owners pockets. SAD! read more

The 4 for 4 option I ordered seemed old as if the food had been sitting out for a while. The fries tasted like cardboard, maybe because of old grease? The nuggets were very hard and cold and the burger, you could tell had been microwaved, especially as the bread was also very hard. I wish I new this place was this bad. I ordered my food at the kiosk and my receipt came out blank. I over the employee's say that the night crew got fired. The crew before them were pretty much all under 18 years old and had to leave so that left two employees and the manager. The employee that was running the register closed her station and left, so nobody was at the register for to get my money back and leave. One of the employees warned people that if your paying cash the lobby is closed and if your using a card it's at least an 30 minute wait. It was almost an hour before I got my food. read more

System is always down, never have what you want, it takes 20 mins to get an order of nuggets, and the manager personally spits in your food they don't like you for whatever reason. This McDonalds is AWFUL. The workers will wait for very long periods of time to take your order when they have no customers at either drive through window. They do not want to work, so they simply just don't. The line is always extremely long because they don't take orders. I have ridden around the building to get out of the ridiculously long line and seen the workers not doing anything at all. read more
