I dont have the name of the gentleman. But he seemed to be the manager with shorter hair. We had to write something to say that he went above and beyond to make our experience a great one. We were headed up north and stopped with our one year old to get something to eat. While eating outside our cone started to melt prior to us finishing our lunch. The man, while working to serve a busy establishment and drive through, not only took notice of our messy cone but offered a new one at the end of our meal. Our son was ecstatic. It takes someone who really cares to notice the small stuff as well as the big stuff. 10 out of 10. 5 stars all around. read more

Why did McDonalds change the appearance of their buildings? So boring. McDonalds used to have "fun" colors inside and out. Now you go in and there's this ugly light blue/teal with grey and some random light sconce on ,I assume, wallpaper. Looks and feels medicinal, not friendly at all. Too bad read more

Very displeased with this McDonald's. As it was 11:50pm & this locations closing time was midnight- they did not serve us. With the heavy traffic flow they get off of US-23, you would generally think they would stay open. Thank you guys for being non reliable. Was there 1/9/20. read more

As far as McDonald's go, this is a decent one. The interior is up to date and the whole place was sparkling clean when I stopped in. The service was friendly, and they were relatively quick. What more can you ask for from McD's? read more

As soon as we pulled up, my kids thought it was fancier than most McDs. Of course, our expectations were low based on other McDs. Much to our surprise, our fast food WAS fast and ACCURATE. Sure, our standards aren't high because we understand short staffing, etc., but when my 17 year old was happy with service and food, that was huge. He has brought up our visit a few times since then and has said it's the best McDs he's been to. Unfortunately we live over an hour away. read more

Wasn't the most impressed when visiting this location late in the evening. A few of their menu items were out of stock which was quite odd for the small town of Standish Michigan. Went to the door and there was a sign that said that only the Drive Thru was open. Their hours on their door did not reflection when their inside was closed so that was a bummer because we had been driving for a while and wanted to stretch for a bit and relax inside. read more

The past 3 Saturday's I've gotten to this McDonald's @11 pm and they are usually closed. Ive called and told them that their website is wrong. I've told them they need to change that and they reply with, they usually are open past 11 pm but sometime they close because it's slow. False advertising. I'm mad that they won't change their website hours. read more

I walked into this McDonald's with no expectations. Just a quick stop on the ride home, a McBite to eat. The line to order was fairly short and my order was taken promptly. I ordered a McChicken, a Cheeseburger, 6 chicken McNuggets and a small fry. Before I ordered my sister, her friend, and my cousin ordered. They were given numbers to take to their table since we had planned on eating inside the establishment. I placed my order "for here" and was not given a number. I wondered why they were given special treatment over me, but I brushed it off and stepped aside awaiting my order to arrive. After a few minutes a young lady grabbed a tray of food that had been placed on the counter behind the cash register a few minutes prior to her grabbing it. She then looked at me and said... "is this yours?" To which I replied, "uh... I think so." I took the food which I confirmed, was in fact my meal, sat down with my party who had all been given their meals before me and began eating. I used ketchup packets because the ketchup dispenser was all out . A minor inconvenience. I pushed on and finished opening all of the ketchup packets into a small plastic cup. I began my meal with the McChicken sandwich. As I unwrapped my sandwich wrapper my tastebuds began to dance with excitement. To my disappointment, my bun was quite squashed. I said to myself "well this is McDonald's." And took a bite. The McChicken was good, but not the best I've had. It had a little too much mayonnaise making the suppressed bun and lettuce slide around awkwardly. I'd give the McChicken 3 stars out of 5. I then moved onto the Chicken McNuggets. They were an acceptable temperature, not too hot but not cold. I don't have much to say about them other than they tasted as I would expect chicken McNuggets to taste. They had a nice crunch to them. Overall I'd give the McNuggets 4 out of 5 stars. The French fries were acceptable. I did have one fry that was pretty soggy and sickly looking. I ate it anyways. I give the fries 4 out of 5 stars. Moving onto the cheeseburger. I was starting to fill up by this time so I wasn't as excited to eat the cheeseburger as I was to eat the McChicken. As I unwrapped the cheeseburger I could tell this bun would be flat as well and it was. So I took my first bite and as I pulled my mouth away from the burger, an entire pickle fell out and hit me in the chin. How embarrassing. I wiped my face and continued to finish the burger. The burger was not juicy or all that great tasting, and the cheese tasted slightly artificial. Out of 5 stars I give this cheeseburger 2 stars. I was ready to leave but first the rest of the clan had to hit the restroom. They all came out giving it a horrible review of 2.25 out of 10!!! Stars. I decided I'd hold it for the rest of the trip (2 hours). We all left the restaurant and as we walked out my cousin noted that you could hold open both doors at the same time because they were so close together. A positive or negative thing depending on how many people were walking through the doorway. I won't let that affect the review, just an interesting fact about the architecture of the building. Based on these things I give this McDonald's a 5 star review. read more

Worst service and food ever waited in line for an hour and couldn't get the McMuffin I wanted. Then had a bunch of little girls rag on me because I didn't know I couldn't get it. I will never return to this restaurant. I would rather eat something out of the garbage can probably would taste better. So sad this is what the world is coming to. read more
